Liked reading this line. Something poetic about it. He had that effect Robbie didn't he ....

He made many, many saturday arvos more bearable. My Grandfather loved the Cordner's,My mother loved Barassi.I don't have a premiership player to call my own.Until that day R Flower is the closest thing to MFC royalty I have.

If I never see a flag so be it,but there was always a bit of magic watching Robbie.

Heres a bit of fun amidst all the doom and gloom of this year so far.

1. Favourite Current Melbourne Player and why?

2. Favourite Past player and why?

For me:

1. Jack Trengove- Just oozes class and silky skills. Gotta love an up and coming young gun.

2. Adem Yze- Was a little bit different but everything about him just had class written all over it. The long sleeves, the white boots the freak goals. I sorely miss going to watch him play.

2011 >

1/ Jack Trengove

2/ James Frawley

3/ Mark Jamar

4/ Brent Moloney

Watts - He could be anything and get a buzz when he shows why he was drafted

Tingay - I had never heard of Flower when i got 2 on my back in junior footy
