As our back six looked so settled against the crows on the w.e i was thinking that rivers' spot in the team may not be required down back. Having said this i still believe he is in our best 22 and deserves his place in the side. So maybe we could chuck him down forward and try him as a KPF? He is a big tall strong body that has good skills, he also has a bit of 'go' in him which we need to create more forward pressure, anyway jst a though given we are struggling so much for goals and i generally believe he could do some sort of job down forward. ur thoughts?

He will be required when we play brisbane backing into the contest is his thing and he will have to do that against brown and fev

yes this is true but DB should try him out against the tigers.....our forward line cant get much worse?

A scarecrow up forward would me more useful than our current forward line. At least the scarecrow won't flood down the ground and will be in the forward 50 to mark when the ball is coming in to the 50.

Rivers is handy, not sure if he is a short term solution up forward but it can't hurt.

Willing to try anything at this point.

i was going to start a similar thread...

personally i think Rivers has little or no future at the MFC i think he will end up like mclean (never fit & will be on the way out soon)

would not be surprised if hes up for trade or in the pre season draft come years end
