It's an appalling list in terms of quality and depth.

As for Tingay ? He was a good player and yes, we never saw his consistent best due to injury, but Mainwaring used to take him to the cleaners every time he played on him.

There's been no club with a worst set of 'best midfielders' since the VFL became the AFL in 1990.
