Ahk mate.

i just thought wed be elevating spencer and valenti considering there form in vfl and our struggle for good ruckman.

But i spoe with moosey doing ok in the ruck and with the inside mids no need as of yet.

Spencer has already been elevated... how do you think he played the first 2 games? then he got dropped because he didn't do a great job... Meesen and Johnson are better options right now, and when Russian is fit, he'll go back to the rookie list...

As for Valents, you elevate him if you're going to play him... Can't see him getting a game to be honest, especially with the players who are due to return from injury over the coming weeks, there's going to be a pretty long line to get into the Melbourne side...

Certainly agree that we shouldn't be elevating anyone unless they are going to play. But since Spencer's elevated already, maybe we should be playing him more often? Adelaide don't have good ruckmen, so it will be interesting to see how Meesen and PJ go tomorrow.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
