NAB Cup Expectations

Featured Replies

i know Frawley is still young so i hope he does well, as for Jurrah ive booked the remote. shouldnt have too many problems at that time though.

Melbourne simply has one optoin in the NAB cup. Show the AFL and other teams we can play as we need to prove to people that we are a strong club with an up and coming list. Look at what Hawthorn and St Kilda and Geelong had to go through. I mean FFS Fremantle has been on the bottom rung nearly every year for 13 years and yet sponsors neglect us. Fremantle have made finals once and had an old list and are as unproven as us with some of their youngsters yet Melbourne is the club who gets laughed at.

Time to step up demons 2009 is the year to drop peoples jaws show everyone we can play and tell the afl doubters to F..K off.

We must go out there to win. We must aim to win every Game, it's the only way we can survive. We have to attract Sponsors. Sponsors like good product that a Mass Audience can identify with. At the Moment we are so far from that. But i do think the tide is turning. But we MUST win some Games.

Jurrah will be an interesting one. - Can't wait. next sat night he is playing in the all stars game v adelaide at 11pm on ABC. Well worth a look i think.

I think the club is having an intra-club practice match on Fri 13 Feb at Casey

Yes it is at Casey on the 13th of Feb
