Wtf is wrong with Clarry?
Surely not yet another injury
Anyone know if Clarry has a partner who might be expecting in the near future?

He did a good job with us but apparently there’s been a bit of politics going on at Bomberland making it hard for people to do their jobs.

It was mentioned a couple of times on tv last night that there was going to be a practice match between the Melbourne and St Kilda leftovers due to their VFL teams having a bye. Are there any details?

It’s been a strange period in terms of coaches being sacked. Last year, the Saints re-appointed Brett Ratten as coach for 2023 but sacked him before he could start the pre-season and now Gold Coast sack their coach when they’re only 1½ games out of the top eight. If King manages to lift them to a few wins in a row this could get interesting.

Excuse me but have they finished deliberating yet?

What did he see last weekend in Perth that Luke Jackson missed?

Oliver Sestan is an intriguing prospect. Unlike many recruits, he’s not a product of the system and accordingly, has to be trained up to fit in to what’s required to succeed. I hope he learns quickly but never loses the individuality of being who he is. The game needs its star players but it also needs characters.

Clarrie - surely?

Not that it will matter over the course of the whole season but if this keeps up, there’s one more team that’s going to finish ahead of the Dockers.

What an appalling display of umpiring. It was actually a great contest until ruined by the umpires in their determination to get Carlton over the line. The commentary was comical too. It's reasonable to call out poor decisions without sinking the boots into the umpires, but there was nothing. In this case, the boots should have been well and truly sunk in as they were clearly shifting the momentum of the game away from North. Good on them for battling on despite the obvious bias.
Let’s not get too carried away. The free kick count favoured Carlton by 21 to 20. North gave away a lot of frees because its lack of talls meant that its defenders were often under the pump in marking contests.
One of the reasons for its loss were pre match injuries to key defenders and the injury to Larkey.

Incredible that after two poor performances to start the season and a final quarter burst against a wounded West Coast, Fremantle sits in 9th place on the ladder.

The Magpies must certainly think the story is a beat up because they’re not even standing Crisp down until the investigation is completed.
Is it being suggested that bad behaviour against women is forgiven if the claim is historical?

Mitch Szybkowski is training on at Essendon in the New Year. Pity in a way because I was hoping he would land at Casey and possibly end up with Melbourne eventually. However, he’s probably of a type that’s similar to some of our gun midfielders but not nearly as good.
Has signed with Frankston’s VFL side. The Dolphins have struggled to make finals of late but have done well recently in producing a few players drafted at AFL level.

It’s Easter in January with many of our players resurrected during the course of the day. Max’s hamstring is low level, Gus is back in town and Clarrie looks okay.
Glory be!

Highly unlikely. Sadly, nothing to see here - moving right along.

If these are the best two options available to us, I'd rather we keep a spot open for the mid season draft.
I’m somewhat puzzled as to why we are limited to only two train-on players. Is that the rule?

You can’t use the word “termagant” on a children friendly format like Demonland. Find another word for it.

Just throwing out a hypothetical but if someone made a joke about Trac's mum making him a good pasta because 'We know what Italians are like' should that be called out?
Note: This is a pure hypothetical question, please no jumping to theories condoning of anti-semitic remarks.
Wrong hypothetical.
How would you feel if you made up a joke about Trac’s dad beating up Mrs. Trac because ‘We know what Italians are like’ should that be called out?

There's a bit of budget King brother vibe about him.
How so? The King brothers are both well in excess of 2m tall. Jefferson’s a mere 195cm.

Sounds a bit like a young Tracc too.

Let’s start a thread for any random old codger at the end of his career to add to the list of key forwards we already have at the end of their careers.
