  1. I relise that was just having a bit of fun. Would Jamar be one?
  2. Clark & Dawes.
  3. I have successfully joined the TRIDENTS league. I have the highly original team name of " Al's Demons". Hoping not to trade out before finals as I do in SC. Big thanks to DeeVoted for setting this up.
  4. Laugh as much as you want, my comparison to Tambling might be a bit over the top. I have watched 5 of the first six games missing just the North/Carlton game. I have been keen to watch first year players from all clubs. I watched last nights game with a few mates, we all keen to see what the fuss was about, considering how much this blokes tyres have been pumped up by the media and his teammates. Better than O'mera was what everyone was hearing, ready to step straight in. From what I've seen and I know it was his first game but he was way off the pace. Compare his debut to that of a Tom Mitchell, Brad Crouch, Jäger O'mera or young Libba. My comments are not based on number of touches but more so on were they contested, effective disposal, composure with/without the ball at the top level. He may well become a star but he's a long way off.
  5. While were banging on about Wines V Toumpas. Did anyone see Jack Martin play tonight? To think GC who already had a number of class mids selected him ahead of Hogan. I know it was his first game but the talk has been for over twelve months he is better that O'Meara. I only watched the first 2 and a half qtrs and was left wondering what the fuss was about. Yes he's young, yes it was his first game but he is miles behind O'Meara and Brad Crouch. I will watch him with interest this year. Could he be Tambling mark2?
  6. Im happy to stick by it.
  7. Throw in Salem and Tyson along with Viney and Toumpas and we have our own Fab Four.
  8. Mitch is 26 turning 27 in October this year. A genuine powerhouse when fully fit. With Fitzy, Hogan and Dawes set to return this week I'm happy to wait.
  9. Well I hope he's not. Obviously were not across all contracts but 650/700 should be suffice. If Hoagan lives up to the hype he should be offered the money that is reserved for a marquee player. Not a key defender. Part of this club moving forward is consistent performances = contracts that reflect your worth.
  10. Barry has had one game, give him time. As for asking Ablett, I remember Miller towelling up Hall. Centre line - Watts jones Trengove Foll -Cross Viney Bench -Tyson, Michie, Toumpas, M jones , Strauss(Vince HFF) For mine Jordie doesn't make it.
  11. Add to that he can't go forward or back so it limits his appeal.
  12. Yes he looked more at ease and not as rushed but so did Dunn and the rest of the team. Come round one I think we've have recruited enough mids for him to be an emergency. What does he bring that makes him great?
  13. Why are people so quick to drop Barry? If Viney/Watts are good to play I would drop Jordie. We've seen for years what he has to offer and for mine it's not enough. He's not picked for elite disposal and two tackles in a game isn't enough. Whilst I also understand the need for cohesion with the core group I personally don't see him as part of it.
  14. Hopefully Watts follows his example of taking the game on, and play on your natural instincts. We've seem glimpse's of what he is capable of, time to put it all together.Really interested to see how JKH backs up next game, we've been screaming for a small forward with goal smarts for years.
  15. Was just looking at the line ups, North look to be close to full strength, would be nice to see.
  16. thought he played really well.
  17. My bad, didn't read all posts to gain context.
  18. NAB game or not, Tigers only had Maric, Conca, Push up, Jackson and Self Imposed Media Ban missing. They have no excuses. Out of the 8 they slide.
  19. Just adjusting the supercoach team as we speak.
  20. Been impressed with Dunn's game.
