Best Bet. Morphetville R9 No. 5 Despatch. $2.90 Coming off a 65 week break but recent barrier trials have been impressive. Really struggled this week to find a “standout”.

I believe the overall moment was special, right up there with T Mac’s “ Genius” game winner in the West. The Melbourne roar after the goal was possibly the loudest we have heard at the G in a long long time. It felt bloody good to hear such a roar with so many MFC supporters going absolutely bonkers with elation and that would have been the case if any of the other 21 players had kicked that goal.

Preseason Training - Week commencing 12/03/18
Dee Zephyr replied to Earl Hood's topic in Melbourne Demons
Wouldn’t have a clue if T Mac reported the ailment or not. Based on the timeframe Goody spoke of, ( possibly a mix up of words) T Mac has played in two weekends of football with the issue. Like Wiseblood stated above, it’s strange, considering we have been told many many times on here a slight niggle equals rehab. -
Agree, we just hope it doesn’t take 8 seasons to do it.

So, Tom Mac didn’t report his sore toe for the last month. According to Goodwin, it’s been troubling him for a month yet he’s played AFLX and the opening JLT. -
None the wiser. https://www.sen.com.au/news/2018/03/14/cats-provide-update-on-dangerfields-hamstring

A bit more of a search on him found he’s building a reputation as one of Australia’s leading form analysts. Will keep a keen eye out for his tips. Also, I noticed yesterday “Lite’n In My Veins” won around the $2.50 price.

That’s what I thought lol, but I edited my post after a quick google search, CEO of William Hill Australia currently.
-
Whatever happened to Tom Waterhouse? I remember him popping up on the telly late at night spruiking his own company. Edit: Maybe I should have gone through a google search prior to posting. He’s the CEO of William Hill.

Some interesting thoughts in that article. We might have to pick our “Best” in Tasmania or Northern Territory. Good insight by him on those states. I don’t know much about him Macca and have only seen him on the racing.com channel giving his selection before each race at the track he’s at. He does have a twitter account but unsure if he gives any tips out. Liked his best betting story also. Safe to say Atlantic Jewel was slightly above average.

You’re right, no mention at all of a hotspot, after the news of a hotspot surfaced last night a sore toe seemed like a relief. If indeed there is one, i guess they’re hiding it. "I'm confident [he will play round one]. He's got a sore toe and he's had that for a month or so," Goodwin said as he enters his second season in charge of the Demons. If the above is true, why was T Mac allowed to play in AFLX and the opening JLT? I thought the players were straight into rehab if they felt even a slight itch.

Not a hotspot according to Goodwin. http://m.afl.com.au/news/2018-03-13/dees-confident-sore-forward-will-play-round-one

Roosy says "It's a good time to be a Dees supporter"
Dee Zephyr replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yep. There’s hardly any commentators left. Most of them have turned into “Special Comments” and it’s terrible listening. Adam Papalia and Brenton Speed seem a tad refreshing, those two actually call the game. -
My post was in jest as the poster claimed he posts them world wide.
-
The thought did cross my mind that could be the case. There’s been ample time between writing and printing for a quick edit. I do like his top 4 pick though.

SAM LANDSBERGER ”Toby Greene (GWS) and Tom Lynch (GC) receive Dustin Martin-type offers to return to Victoria as the expansion clubs crash out of the premiership race.” So, Toby Greene to receive a massive offer to return home a year after he signed a 6 year multimillion dollar deal with GWS. Massive would be an understatement if this was to happen.

The race caller didn’t even realise Fanatic railed through on the final turn and bolted two lengths in front. It happened so quick, you could hear his surprise 100m upon straightening.
-
Lol, been out and about but always find time to jump on and have a sneaky look. Even managed to catch the cup on the phone. Fanatic didn’t give up at all, I thought Ormito had it the last 200m.

If Danger and Ablett miss it only gives an opportunity for some other players to come in that are hungry and willing to impress to keep a spot in the team. They might not have the class of the above but they’ll sure have the determination to make it as difficult as possible for us. We can only beat what’s put in front of us.

AFLW: Rnd 6 v Carlton @ Ikon Park

Tell me about it, I got hit in the head by a bouncing basketball. Great observations and on Cunningham, her work rate was unbelievable. A big well done to the players for spending time with the fans after the game for snaps and signatures. -
If indeed there is a draw next week, won’t GWS pass us on percentage if they win big?

First time at an AFWL game and must admit the standard from us was very good. Demon Army in full voice. Like @DemonAndrew stated, Cunningham will be something special. She’s exciting to watch and Carlton have to infringe to stop her. Lets hope they keep it up, big two weeks coming up for our club. -

Nice day to head out and watch the girls. First time watching live and looking forward to it. Get the job done Dees!!! -
Had to watch the Newmarket replay twice then Macca. Once to watch the grandstand side only, twice to watch the far side. Terrific race though.

Since when does Carlton break the 100 point barrier?
