  1. ? I wont be listening to the kids again.
  2. Classic pic Macca, you’re right, no need to say anything else. Poor old Tom, I had no idea that occurred.
  3. 1. GWS 2. Port 3. Sydney 4. Adelaide 5. MELBOURNE 6. Richmond 7. Geelong 8 . St Kilda 9. Essendon ( By percentage) 10. Western Bulldogs 11. Collingwood 12. Hawthorn 13. West Coast. 14. Fremantle 15. Gold Coast 16. Carlton 17. Brisbane 18. North Melbourne
  4. Ray Thomas (Racing Editor Daily Telegraph) was on SEN a short time ago and provided an update on the latest racing news. - Hugh Bowman cleared to ride Winx and Performer on Saturday. - Performer was cleared to run in the Slipper after being required to participate in a barrier trial last Friday. It was an impressive trial with the blinkers on. Hopefully no more Nutbush moves from the horse. - A very even bunch of juveniles competing in the Slipper this year in his opinion. Barrier draw is tomorrow. - Still unclear if Waller will head to Royal Ascot with Winx. The most bizarre news involved the grand old campaigner Chautauqua. The horse refused to jump out of the barriers today in a barrier trial for the fourth consecutive time. In trackwork the horse is running fast times but refuses to jump in trials. Future up in the air.
  5. Hunt 4th from left?
  6. There’s a few of us here in the northern suburbs, the kids get really excited when they see Melbourne stickers on cars up this way. Such nice colours to look at, beats the hell out of seeing black and white jumpers roaming the streets.
  7. I couldn’t watch the game last night LH and from reading all the comments above the umpiring seemed like an issue again. Sorry, I should have added “ If we see those 3 whistle happy bozos officiating our opener next week” in my response to Cass’s “ could it get worse” comment. Knowing our luck we probably get at least one of them. Was the umpiring really that bad last night?
  8. Yes. Round 1 Melbourne vs Geelong. Field umpires: No.15 Mathew Nicholls. No.18 Ray Chamberlain. No.28 Troy Pannell.
  9. Heading out fellas, been fun again, go Despatch and go the Dees!!!!
  10. Stiff, I took it in a multi with Despatch, oh well.
  11. Time for some research Macca. Wondering if he’s on SA radio at all. I shouldn’t laugh but if there was a certainty today, that was it!!
  12. He said he wasn’t comfortable ( pardon the pun) selecting for this race, it was a tricky race to rate or something to that effect. So this guy picks winners even when he doesn’t want to.
  13. Me too....?
  14. He’s picked the 1 Comfortable. I missed his 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Sorry Wadda.
  15. Was just about to post the exact same Macca. She made up a heap of ground from 3rd last but I guess they didn’t have much choice from that barrier. Well done to the winner.
  16. Goodness me, let’s hope that’s not an omen for our ladies tonight.
  17. You’ve talked me into it Macca. A flutter at those odds can’t hurt.
  18. Written By had to fight hard to keep that cheeky Sandbar at bay. The Slipper looms as a cracking race.
  19. Just noticed the winner at Morphetville R2 was ridden by the trainer. Unless there are two Shayne Cahills out there. Nice divvy by the way.
  20. Not a lot Wadda. In the end $1.65 fixed. Not sure if a higher price was on offer.
  21. A bit of movement since i last looked which suggests punters are willing to have a go. Current odds with TAB $11 Premiers $6 Make GF $13 Minor Premiership $2.75 Top 4 $1.75 Top 8
  22. Men's Training Times Monday 19th March, 9.30am, Gosch's Paddock Thursday 22nd March, 9.45am, Gosch's Paddock *Please note: Training times are subject to change at late notice.
  23. Yes, too classy, great front running display and never looked troubled Macca.
  24. Decent price, yeah hard day coming up I feel, you and Macca didn’t leave me much choice. Liked the two you selected also. Despatch is a bit of risk at that price with a long layoff. They decided to give it a lengthy break after they gelded it. Maybe a complication followed but showed a lot of promise in two race starts. It’s not an overly strong field but I like the fact it is out of Written Tycoon and the McEvoy/Kah combination.
