  1. Not according to the Foxtel guide. Earliest time is 5.30am Thursday. Showing a few AFLW replays between now and then, why?
  2. Dogs had one good moment at least, kicking a late goal to place us back in 7th spot.
  3. Bulldogs in serious strife at the moment.
  4. So true, noticed that when the camera panned to him in the last quarter.
  5. Won’t be long before we see a headline like this. Is this kid the next Clayton Oliver? Do all of you slap yourselves to realise he’s only 20?
  6. Cass, please read my post properly. I didn’t say Lewis is the only one with finals experience. I said just about the only one. Yeah Jones played two games 12 years ago and more recently Lever.
  7. 1. Lol at Ben Guthrie for not naming Oliver in the top 10 under 23. Better than Bont! 2. Garlett- Hogan. Magnificent 9. 3. Fritch returning on the ground.
  8. Sorry Radar, a bit before my time. VFL players?
  9. Some horrible injuries today and apologies if this has been posted elsewhere but we don’t want to see this on any playing field. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-03-31/young-magpie-hospitalised-with-heart-issue
  10. Sorry B, thought you might be having a joke, it could be true, just a bit odd it comes out now.
  11. 6. Garlett. Smothers, goals, assists when needed turned the tide. 5. Hogan. 4. Oliver. 3. OMac. The only defender that’s not getting lost when a team is rebounding against us. 2. Jones 1. Tyson.
  12. He was horrible tonight but if we do make finals I don’t believe the coaches will be leaving out just about the only player with finals experience.
  13. It will be interesting to read reports from the Demonlanders that were at the Gabba, enjoy the beers first.
  14. Garlett, Hogan and Oliver thank you very much. Poise, class and desperation when required by the above. OMac.....All-Australian form? Maybe one kicked on him tonight.
  15. Two absolute shockers back to back from Etihad. Lynch the only one worth watching.
  16. @Macca Looks like two “Best Bets” today. Around $8 for the multi. Not bad for two legs.
  17. Absolutely 100%, the quality of standard or enjoyment factor was the furthest thought in my mind and most others after the siren judging by reactions on the walk out of the G. Can’t even imagine for the people watching at home.
  18. It usually means bred overseas. Going back about 10-20 years Australia/NZ bred top stayers but the lack of decent staying races in conjunction with the amount of time it took from foal to ready for racing was too long. People want quick returns, hence owners investing in two year olds because they can race when they are two years of age. Some of the top trainer/owners would invest in overseas stayers and bring them to race here as ready made gallopers, i.e Waterhouse with Fiorente. Thats my understing anyway fellas. Edit: Overseas trainers were bringing quality stayers to race here in the Melbourne Cup especially in the last 5-10 years as Macca stated above. Aussie trainers took a backstep and it was almost a case of, if you can’t beat them, join them.
  19. Dan Zephyr is running in the last at Caulfield today. I had no idea until I went through the fields again. Can’t see him winning or even placing to be honest. Change of trainer in the last few months but I see they stuck with their favourite jockey. Good luck to the old boy!
  20. He might, if we allow Norf 66 inside 50s and 20 odd set shots like the Saints did yesterday, best to worry about Hipwood first.
  21. From Big Footy. Some of the melts are very entertaining. The person who made the final decision to draft McCartin over Petracca needs to be sacked. No ifs. No buts. Sack him. St Kilda reserve seat for sale. I’ll give you $50. Just take it.
