Apologies. As a newbie to the picking the place getters i forgot i had to pick two. Next time i'' get it right.
By the by i would have selected Egg tart (honest) for my other place getter, as i was um and ahhing between Egg tart and Coming Through. Brilliant horse early doors who has struggled a bit of late
No problem binman, as always your contribution is appreciated.

Im on.
Doomben Cup Race 8 ...
W/2/3 Oregan's Day No.12
W/2/3 Tradesman No.10
W/2/3 Satono Rasen No.7
2/3 Comin' Through No.2
2/3 A Life less Ordinary No.8
Ok, I’m on.
Put it on with Neds and split my investment by 3 so I can place it on all totes (Vic, NSW, QLD), much easier than trying to guess which state will pay the most should we be successful.?

My only single win bet for the day and I’M A RIPPA salutes in Doomben. Tough win.

So here's how our trifecta is looking with 1 more pick to come from @binman
Doomben Cup Race 8 ...
- W/2/3 Oregan's Day No.12
- W/2/3 Tradesman No.10
- W/2/3 Satono Rasen No.7
- 2/3 Comin' Through No.2
- 2/3 ????????
If BM doesn't get back here in time we can either slot in our own choice or if someone is confident with the 5th choice then go for it. We should wait a bit though.
Good idea Macca. Im more than happy to go with yourself or Wadda for the “emergency” pick.

Whats the track doing at Flemington? There was a lot of rain when i was leaving Melbourne last night.
What does everyone think of Boomtimes chances in Race 5 today?
Rated a Soft5 at the moment Wadda.
Boom Time should be too good for this lot. Returned with a great first-up run.

Is 12 4-2-1 in the good ground. Comes in ok at the weights carrying 59 as a 108 rater, though not nearly as well as Oregon Day who is carrying 2kgs less and is only 3 rating point behind at 106
G’day binman, just realised we need one more selection from you for the placings when you get some time please. Cheers.

Rosehill Race 9 No.2 Noire $3.30
Trained by Waller and also, the Sky Thoroughbred crew like its chances as well.
The 3 adds up to about 22-1 combined in a multi.

Flemington Race 9 No 1 Iconoclasm $2.30
Rosehill Race 9 No.2 Noire $3.30
Flemington R 6 No 1 Rich Charm $2.90
Approx $22.00 for your $1.00
Nice work lads. All later races so no need for me to do the Zephyr Dash to the TAB early. Weekend off and looking forward to some good racing.

Great pick and a crowd favourite. Go Udyta.
btw theyve put the call out for extras in Michelle Paynes film......if you feel like starring..
Ok Doomben Cup im going to stick my neck out here, its a tough race with many winning chances. Im going for the Darren Weir horse, No10 Tradesman $14.00. Its had 3 runs in and won its last start, Its got 2 from 2 at the distance. Its as good a chance as any in this. Weir dont put em in just for the run.
Yes please Wadda, can you get me an audition? My towering height of 170cm should easily get me a gig as a jock.
Nice pick btw, good value.

Looks like the Doomben Cup it is then DZ ... and it's over to you to kick things off!
Good luck!
I might be playing it safe but Oregon’s Day is my selection. Untried at the 2000m but after watching her last start win it suggests the extra 200 shouldn’t be an issue. Terrific win pulling away impressively late.
Looking at all her form, the mare seems quite versatile in regards to settling positions and from barrier 2 J Byrne shouldn’t have an issue gaining a good position from the jump.

How does this look - we all rotate one spot and we go with the new order for 4 weeks (?)
- W/2/3 - Dee Zephyr
- W/2/3 - Wadda We Sing
- W/2/3 - Macca
- 2/3 - binman
- 2/3 - binman
Looks good Macca, I’m happy to go with that.
While I’m at it, here’s my Best Bet:
Flemington Race 6 No.1 Rich Charm. $3.00Tab
A return to winning ways last start after being far from disgraced earlier in the Autumn. Likes the track and distance , goes very well on the soft and even if it dries out, the horse has won half his starts on a good track.
Interestingly, Udyta Clarke resisted running in the G1 Goodwood this weekend and opted for Flemington. Clarke stated she didn’t want to draw barrier 1,2 or 3 down the straight but I’m willing to put my JJ hat on and back what I feel is a classy horse.
Here’s the latest on Rich Charm.

Found 3 races this weekend that are likely candidates for our combined trifecta - amongst them the 'Roma Cup' from Ascot that has a quality field from the mostly local WA horses.
The G1 Goodwood has a field of 20 comprising a number of crack sprinters whilst the G1 Doomben Cup has some classy runners as well.
At this time of year I'll restrict my betting to these 3 races only but more so 2-5-5-5 First4's. A small outlay to hopefully win big ?
I’d like to nominate the Doomben Cup Macca.
It’s Tom Melbourne time!!! ???

Scone Wadda, paid around $2.20. Was in heavy traffic toward the back, found some gaps upon straightening and finished off with a brilliant burst nearer the rail.
Love it!! The DL Black Book!

I’ve noticed a lot of our Best Bets for a particular weekend pop us as winners in following starts. Osbourne Bulls a few minutes ago, Hear The Chant earlier today, French Emotion last week at very good odds mind you. Might have to do a scroll through all our picks so far to see how they back-up.

My mate text me a short time ago. This is the Zephyr’s final run before retiring to the paddock?. Good luck if you have a little something on him!
