If we were going to persist with the 4 talls, Smith for Weid, Viney for a mid, on present form Tyson is 4th best after Jones, Oliver and Brayshaw, it was an obvious out if they went that way Upto him now to force his way back in
-
Absolute toss, he was 'unlucky', Goodwin's words, suppose you can add him in as a 'poor' performance, as an emergency of course
-
Nev calls him Jeffy and that's what he gets in the drills at training, so assume he is ok with it
-
Hunt is out of form, we are fortunate at the moment to have a few of these 'hybrid' players as Rawlings calls them, these include Hunt, Bugg, Garlett, Wagner, Stretch, if they get back in form, they will need to perform consistently strong at Casey to get a sniff
-
No, I mean half back, not watching for mistakes I actually watch the game, he has played fwd, wing and half back, the mark he took against Essendon was in the back half coz he was playing half back Troll alert below
-
Er has nobody noticed Fritsch playing half back in games? Playing alongside Lewis and Vince he will learn plenty

Why is Nev invisible to the umps (and Match Review)
Satyriconhome replied to DEE fence's topic in Melbourne Demons
Keep an eye on Nev the next game, he is always in the face of the opposition, loves it when it is tough, surprisingly As you saw if he gets belted, he usually buries one or two of the opposition legally during the rest of the game Defenders always get the rough end of the pineapple with the umpires -

With this being possibly his last 'big' contract, would assume he will do what is right for him and his family I have tried 'begging' but that doesn't work with Nev? -

Nev, would find the above hilarious, he gives as good as he gets, when I talk to him though we joke about the target he has on his head, pound for pound, or kilo for kilo, he is one of the strongest at the club, hence why he finds himself on the 'big guys' as well -
Has to be June 30, as the finance has to be reported for that Financial Year, where did you get July 31? I stand corrected, it has changed to July 31, not sure how you report this across FY Was always June 30
-
Exactly right @Cards13 it is a Noongar design

Match Preview and Team Selection - Round 8
Satyriconhome replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
No he doesn't, I expected better from you, but you have joined the flock, must be a continual disappointment to the experts on here that Goodwin doesn't listen They pick 22 each week, at the start of the season I said that the idea of the best 22 in posters minds on here being picked was gone under Goodwin Nobody is safe in the side, you play your role, you stay in, Harmes, Weid, ANB etc are doing just that If Viney gets thru this week and performs there should be at least one change, if they want to ease him in in the fwd line then one of the small medium fwds will go, all their stats are pretty even at the moment, so which one? because the forward line has worked the last couple of games, so why change it? It should be a mid for mid -

Doesn't matter who we prefer, it's who Goodwin prefers -
Peter Jackson stepping down

He is not leaving for at least maybe another year Reckon the successor will be named in off season, then bedded down with PJ overseeing till just before start of 2019 season -
Is that right Dante?

I spoke to Weid, simple instructions, compete in the air and at ground level, forward 50 pressure and kick goals when opportunity arises, chop out in the ruck. If he can't mark it, get it to ground, keep a defender occupied Exactly what he did on Sunday People over analyse Goodwin's whole philosophy is to keep it simple, barks it all the time at training, when the team over complicates it they [censored] it up
-
What is he producing?, the tv and supporters only look for goals and goal assists, he has obviously performed his role to the standard and above that Goodwin required, his pressure acts are always high, so that must be a tick Also we have supporters who only watch for the negatives and they need a player or two to berate, ANB and Harmes seem to be two at the moment, if Goodwin continues to pick them, they must be playing their role I have given up trying to predict the changes if any ANB hasn't been rotating through the midfield last couple of games so Harmes who has would be the out for Viney, although he can play fwd, mid and back so the versatility may keep him in the side
-
It's not worth anything, the experts have spoken, will all depend on what roles need to be filled, Brayshaw finding midfield form adds another level to the selection 'quandary'
