Shouldn't of been playing anyway. I was having this discussion with my old man three weeks ago, telling him MFC only has 2 things going for it, Viney and Hogan. And there is no use Hogan running around in the VFL after the mid way mark, what do they expect? D*ckheads if you ask me.

Shouldn't be playing anyway, we should've shut him down weeks ago. Hopefully it's just minor and our football department learn from this.

Even in the media they are hesitant to gauge what Jack is worth, but I dare say that most sides would give up a late first rounder. Carlton, Fremantle and Brisbane will look at Watts, Port would be silly not to. Jack should stay at Melbourne though, we are going places, even if it doesn't look like it at present.

I agree, if I was Paul Roos I'd find the prospect of coaching MFC more attractive than coaching Brisbane. Perhaps that is my bias shining through, but I just think we have some real talent coming through and with the prospect of a PP we are well placed. Brisbane will possibly lose Black and Brown and that will set them back next year and I don't see real rapid improvement after that. I don't rate Brisbane as much as most and I think Voss overachieved last year - and that has ultimately been his downfall, Brissy are at now - where they should be.

I think it's debatable either way. One could argue that Watts was never going to be dominate in his first 4 years. Given Jack came into the system a skinny kid - whereas Swallow had the body from the get-go. Watts is improving at a more rapid rate than Swallow - who realistically has underwhelmed, considering he already has a mature body.

I'm never one to sit on the fence, but I am unsure about Jack's stance. Part of me says if Jack wants to stay, he would've already committed. Another part of me says we have been a rabble this year and Jack is well within his rights to wait this out. Either way, we need to keep Watts if we can, he is going to be a hell of a player. I still think Watts will be a superstar and I'd keep him at all costs, I reckon he is exactly the type of bloke we need around the club. Watts has an air of confidence, always has, even though he is much maligned, if this bloke keeps improving, that confidence will rub off on the group collectively.

Wines and Viney speak with so much drive and passion, hopefully Jack can convince his mate to jump aboard. When we get our sh*t together, it's a possibilty.

Sides will be lining up to court Watt's services and most Demon fans would probably say off you go. I personally think Jack Watts is one of the most talented up and coming players in the league. Watts is good and will only get better - and much better.

Watts is a gun, clubs will be lining up, Jack Watts is surrounded by absolute rubbish, players that wouldn't be anywhere near gettnig a gig at other clubs. If Watts leaves, we'll get a top ten pick for him, absolutely certain of that, Jack Watts is rated more highly now - than he has ever been, and rightfully so.

Yeah, Davey has been our highest paid player over the past few years, lucky he wasn't paid on performance. MFC is lucky I don't have the broom.

From Matthews right down to Parkin have commented at times that Jones should be captain, so it will sort itself out. Hasn't hurt the Jacks to experience leadership, but you'd think the next coach will do the logical thing and appoint Nath captain. Another bluey in the bag for Jones, good on him, bloke has a real dip.
