Laughable that the Crows want two first rounders for this guy. Now Im not judging him on his grand final performance, the kid is 21 after all and the Crows were garbage. But the fact is he is a 3rd defender whos strength is intercept marking and spoiling. He hasn't shown he can play 1 on 1 or lock down a key forward. Pick 10, take it or leave it. Though pick 27 is fairer, is this kid better than Hibberd?

The sad thing is we will pay top dollar, then the Crows will easily find a replacement for him and not miss a beat. I wouldn't be against keeping pick 10 and forgetting Lever... groom Joel SMith for that role.

We might have a winner here. Pick 10 + 2018 1st rounder for Jake Lever and Jordan Gallucci Gallucci would be a nice addition, he has something we need in the midfield - lightning speed and a willingness to take the game on.

If he played for another team you and everyone else (yes including me), would be begging for the MFC to go hard at him. 19 disposals per game and 26 goals on the season in effectively his 2nd season. Compare his numbers at the same age to any of the big bodied superstar mids, and he either stacks up or easily has them covered. And none of them missed their first season with an ACL like Trac. If we dont pay him big $, there are 17 other teams that will.

He has little to no trade value.
