I tend to think that the supporters tend to emulate the players in that they follow the clubs that are successful to the extent that they support success.
In Sth Sydney's case the supporter base seemed to treble in a very short space of time.
That being said we are probably looking at a fickle and floating "I've supported Hawthorn all my life creep" until they start losing.
I've been around long enough to know i'll die supporting Melb

If EFC get backdated six month sentences I would puke to think how much they would have received from the AFL if they had have co-operated.
They have shown the AFL up to be a bunch of incompetent buffoons.
Lets hope the public are not the same....

"Slight" loss of AFL TV Revenue Rights in the coming years......
Increased revenue for taping Ess Footy Club's Committee Meetings.....
Any Essendon Football Club Trophy not worth the tin it is and will be printed on for the next millennium.....
-
One would think that if Essendon gets beaten by 100 points or more for the first couple of games the football public would, with a little prodding from the AFooL, be starting to feel sorry for them.
I know I would come 2050...
O well dodder, dodder...

Why would any innocent "doctor" stay at this club unless they are irrevocably embroiled in the mire...

All that has to happen in my opinion is for the "players " to be found guilty of taking drugs.
The Public will do the rest as in the Armstrong case.
The libs couldn't even save themselves....

Lets hope we get a Royal Commission up and going to clean up stuff we all know has been going on for years....

If I see Hogan having to hold Our Forward line up alone because we know that Dawes will be out I will not be overwhelmed by the decision makers.
If anything depending on the weather I want a top heavy though functioning mean fast set up that can readily include Dawes for our second week's win
Then I will start to think about what we could have....

So far Andrews has walked the walk and talked the talk , now he had better do a bit of whatever it takes type action....

Dear Santa" Please send me a bag of 'After the game winning and sitting down feelings for 2015-Packet of 12' "
Didn't want the big bag for next year. Didn't want to be greedy....

For what it's worth I think just that they were to be found guilty, unequivocally, would be definitively important for everything to do with the game and it's future

Haven't these chaps ever heard of phone taps...
-
Just lucky being in the same club with all the laughs...
-
Phone calls and texts and any questions would have been traced and given the "game" away, also showing that one didn't believe the spiel by the hierarchy...

Why (if found guilty) wouldn't they be suspended for the time it takes the drug to get fully out of their systems.
I presume this would possibly be some time....

Wouldn't the AFL be justified in orchestrating a penalty to the detriment of ALL clubs equally, or not at all?
This would be not including of course Essendon if as is perceived their players are suspended.
Somebody wise once said that the game is always bigger than the individual (Essendon)
They would be wise to think hard.

Maybe there is more evidence there than meets the eye

From what I can remember about training, people used to remember how to wait.....

Air getting too dank for dank........

I would be very surprised if all of the "personalities" in this charade are not under
(A) 24 hour surveillance.
(B) Bugged.

This matter has developed expeditiously from a football team taking drugs a couple of years ago to a subliminal major criminal investigation that in my opinion may only include ASADA and Essendon in a peripheral sense.
There are now a number of figures too numerous to mention that are ringing very heavy alarm bells to me.

That'll do it....

For what its worth I think the biggest impact will stem from off the ground generation. Before the draft even happened the non playing personnel that has been collected is going to have a seismic effect on the mental approach that this Team should have collectively developed and will make those goose bumps and hairs stand up when they are on the ground in the guts.
One such occasion for me was watching a young almost undiscovered Simon Eishold play a cracking game in a final I think in the late 80's
This is a mental game now more than ever and if we look close enough come the practice matches I'm thinking and hoping even then we will be able to feel it.
I hope that next year is not too early.
My prediction....just wanna feel the hairs and the goose bumps again.
You'll know.
THE ESSENDON 34: ON TRIAL

I have said it before and I'll say it again that I sincerely believe there is so much more to come out of this matrix.
Essendon and AFL Footy is just the entrée....
Whether we will ever know or not is another question....
