Bad pick, end of story.

Extremely difficult to become A Grade if you lack pace and can't go either side like a slow Sam Mitchell can to get out of trouble. GWS knew which one to let go. Too left sided, too slow, very average foot skills even on preferred side, and obviously never had to hand ball the thing growing up as very poor by hand, no right hand at all.

In my view it is not just that we need to add 5 midfielders and a quality ruckman, we need 2 of those midfielders to be better than N Jones & 2 of those midfielders to be better than Vince & Tyson. What I'm trying to say is that in a top 2 or 3 side, N Jones is the 3rd or 4th midfielder and Tyson & Vince are the 6th & 7th midfielders. I must admit to not rating Tyson anywhere near as highly as some on this site. I see him as being the most ineffective 25 possession midfielder in the comp. Outside of the stoppage, he's a liability and far too one sided for me.

Spangher in the best players once again for Hawks on Saturday in front of 70,000 people. Endurance is as good as Tom's, he is a much better kick and doesn't perform the clangers every single week. FCS we've won 10 games in 3 years, we're absolutely shite so please don't defend them blindly.

Spangher is better player ATM than Tom Mac and he can't get a regular game at Hawks and probably goes when Gibson comes back. In fairness to Tom Mac, he is surrounded by butchers down in that back line. Imagine how much better he would be if he could offload to Birchall, Burgoyne, Hodge etc rather than Grimes, Howe, McKenzie etc.
