could be we are waiting to see what they get for treloar. Could be a juicier pick to chase.I'm thinking 29, 46 and 50 will go for Bugg and a pick back in the early 20's.

id say we are but didn't like the commentJimmy just tweeted.....
@JToumpas: I am so excited though to start fresh at the @PAFC! A club that is based around hard work. It's a journey I can't wait to begin!
The hard work comment?
Are we not based around it?
Concerning?

Saints set to give pies second round pick for freeman. Bloke hasn't got a game yet and has buggered hammies

Bugg for 50 sounds good to me. 29 I wouldn't be happy. As for the terliches and joneses of the world. Seems the club was happy to pay out Evans with a year left on contact so you never know. Spencer is required as ruck back up.

Was listening to pelchen this morning and he was basically questioning why the clubs who were after Howe wanted to play him forward as his numbers were much better off the back line in all areas

is it just me or does trade period make players that have potential seem like absolute superstars. This guys has played a handful of good games IMOSEN reported this morning Carlisle has been offered $600-650K for 4 years at the Saints. ( makes our deal with Melksham look more than reasonable!)
Hawthorn couldn't come close to this with their salary cap, so Calisle wants to get to Saints.
However, Essendon want pick 5 which the Saints won't provide, as they have for the past 2 season traded players ( Goddard, McEvoy, Dal Santo) for picks. The won't give up high picks, so they won't reverse that policy now.
Both need a 3rd party involved

Just had a look at the phantom draft guide update on afl website. Even if we end up with pick 6 we will still get a good egg. Weitering and schache at 1 and 2 seems a lock. gws and Sydney will look to take academy picks with mills, hooper and Kennedy so we end up with one of parish, Francis, weideman, curnow or balic. I'd be happy with any of those. I must note I am not a u18 officianado but just speculating on what I have read or heard during the year.

He had robbo on the ropes. Robbo said that if Andy lovells son is good enough then they should take him. I tweeted robbo to let him know the [censored] had been taken and as yet I have had no response

those kicks looked further than 35 mtrs

that was the edited version. Firstly they States Prestia had signed a new contract with Suns. Incorrect. Secondly they also stated that max Gawn hadn't signed on. Ahhh yes he has. Looks like the editors were getting sauced at the rising star and left the work experience kids in charge. After Twitter went into meltdown they quickly changed itWow.....The Hun have given us that latest on each club re trading. Hot off their internet site.
MELBOURNE
The Dees were linked to Gold Coasts Dion Prestia and Adelaides Tom Lynch but missed out on both. Out-of-contract swing man Jeremy Howe still hasnt made a decision about his future which isnt a great sign at this time of year.
I feel so much more informed now!

From one of andys best mates they are not related as far as he is aware. Like the above poster mentioned its very common name down that way.

Bombers fans call him milkshake. That's all I need to hear. Move on nothing to see here. Couldn't bear it based only on the fact that his nickname is milkshake

did exactly that and in my mind summarised his entire repitoir in one passage of play. Don't mind if he stays but not for big moneyHow many times have you seen him take mark of the year, or a really strong intercept mark. Then turn the ball over with the next disposal, then an opposition goal.

technically inept. It's on the sen footy Twitter account. Not the sen accountLink?

Rob waters has reported that tom lynch is considering a 4 year offer from dees. Saw it on Twitter. Problem is I can't seem to find out if they are referring to the Gold Coast or Adelaide Tom lynch. Hope it's the Gold Coast one. Anyone know anything about it

https://twitter.com/cjdawes6/status/525935418198740992At the moment think H is keeping his head down, seems to have the respect of everybody though, is a really nice guy to speak to, Dawes is Dawes, some days he is the big angry bear, other days is all smiles, doesn't seem to have a problem with H, haven't seen them walking hand in hand though
Here it is

no pressure on him thenBloody hope not!
Brayshaw's possibly a future captain of the MFC.
He's the player I most want of the three at the club.
Happy with either of the other two as well, after Brayshaw that is.

sam grimleyWe obviously want pick 53 or PSD2, who's available?

Whisper on inside of back page of herald sun saying that Evans is having some sleepless nights

only just looked at his highlights now. Is there a bit of ablett about him or am I seeing thingsI've got a contact at the club who is involved with the recruiting and drafting and I just thought I'd let you know that the issues you've been discussing here are exactly those that are being debated at the club at the moment. I've been told that Brayshaw is a lock for 2 but I think everyone knows that but pick 3 has narrowed down considerably over the last few weeks as a result of the interviews they have conducted.
Initially McCartin was the front runner as they wanted to add depth to the KPF situation and they realize this is one of the few chances they will get to pick a big class forward. And they reckon he would work really well with Hogan although that will be a few years away. They are comfortable with Dawes doing that role for the next few year but have doubts about his ability to do it in the longer term. But at the last meeting they discussed his medical situation and now have their doubts. The two players now most under consideration are Lever and Jordan De Goey who have edged in front of McCartin. Lever is a real talent but there is still some concern over his knee and they really like that De Goey is a real goer and is a big bodied the midfielder Roos likes.
The other one who hasn't been ruled out is Nakia Cockatoo because of all the players in the draft he has as much skill and X factor as anyone but his lack of exposed form is a real issue. Roos is torn because he can see the kids talent but hates taking risks.
At this stage the value bet is De Goey although they still have some interviews to do with coaches and so forth but if you wanted to have a punt he'd be a good value bet. They still have a couple of meeting to go and Taylor and Viney will make their final presentations a couple of days before the draft. I can say that a line has been ruled through Wright and Laverde as both just don't tick enough boxes.
Anyway I thought you'd be interested. If I hear anything else I'll pass it on. Reality is that a lot of the things said here are spot on the money other than the rather surprising status of De Goey.
