  1. Healy is a turd, and I wouldn't accept a kidney from him to save my life. He's another talking head making money putting the boot into us. I [censored] on him and all like him.
  2. Depends on how much say, and how much looking at things, Jackson has and needs. Do another 3 or 4 smashings really matter as opposed to doing what needs to be done properly?
  3. Would you still do that after today? Really? Do you see any light at the end of the tunnel at all with this set up (coach / admin / players etc)?
  4. Possibly. Although we'd be at the forth or fifth rebuild by then.
  5. What we were doing under Bailey wasn't the Geelong plan or under Neeld the Collingwood plan. I hate those rubbish terms. On what planet would Geelong be smashed by over 100 points? When has Collingwood been accused of not troubling the scorers enough (oh, you won by 15 points? for shame. It should have been 45) ? We have plans that pick one thing in isolation and run with it, without pausing to think that there is a holistic reason that clubs are successful or not. We need to work at getting a MFC plan rather than thinking 'Collingwood have good pie nights and are a good team. What we need to be a good team is to have more pie nights'.
  6. Thank God mum and my sister go for the dogs.
  7. We can agree that she's a vindictive cow.
  8. As long as we are not getting smashed every week I'll be happy. Anything else would be a bonus.
  9. He's got blackmail pictures of someone at the club.
  10. Yeah, but unlike getting Buddy on the books for this season we had some control over the Magner situation.
  11. It would be good to see Spencer make a go of it in the firsts. He has a big of mongrel about him that can only help the mids and kids walk a bit taller when he's around.
  12. The AFL isn't interested. Tassie isn't a big enough market to matter, it's split between the North and South which adds costs and lowers crowds, the population already follows footy so there is no long term ratings boost from conversions, and existing clubs are milking it for about what is the most you could get out of it. Now if that island was bigger, and played rugby, then the AFL would be eyeing them off, but a NZ push is many, many years away.
  13. This isn't based on anything but gut feel, but I reckon Thomas is the sort of bloke that will enjoy the Dees without giving the value he was asked for, He just strikes me a someone that needs a ego massage to get the best out of him or he'll cruise. I think we'd be the worst spot for that sort of fella.
  14. I'm not. They might find out that there isn't anything to kick us around about on it. Can't have that, can we? Not with all they kicked full of goodness joy we give them.
  15. Remember the Geelong thing. Wrote them off completely 8 or so games out. Think he might have even said they wouldn't finish top 4 or something like that. I'd never really listened to him before then, but I do now. Good laughs are hard to find in the AFL these days.
  16. Can't we show a vid of our games versus Essendon's games to show that we got the dud stuff?
  17. Wash your mouth out.
  18. I might be wrong but I'm seeing a coach drinking his own bathwater. If you set up the forwards in a way you know will beat your own backline set up then what do you think will happen? If you set up your red mids to beat the blue mid set up then what do you think will happen? Problem happens in round one when the other team doesn't set up the way you need them too, and you haven't the cattle, or the nous, or both to make the game be played on your terms. Then the players become lost because they are trained to do one thing but instinctively they know another way that is better. Both years round one came as a huge surprise to Neeld. Both years we were killed tactically.
  19. "You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life." - Winston Churchill. Make some enemies, Mr Jackson.
  20. If he won those 4 I'd get down on my knees and praise God. I reckon we'll be lucky to win 4 all year.
  21. Win some games. Stop being a basket case off and on the field. That's how you get them to go away. That's the only way you get them to go away. *sigh*
  22. I'm thinking the entire board. I don't trust anyone in the club to make a good call right now. I think without a top down clean out we're just going to keep making the same mistakes.
  23. I don't want Neeld gone until the blokes responsible for choosing him and Bails are gone too. We'll just be on the bloody merry go round again.
  24. I'm happy to give some leeway to the backs and the forwards until we get an AFL standard midfield.
