These three games are keeping me awake at night. Soooo important.

What a fantastic pickup this bloke has been. One of my favourites now.

Such an important game to show that we can win more than four games in a season and to show that we can win when we are expected to. West Coast are a far better team than people realise however. My main concerns with the ins are only that they may be sluggish and not match fit. Vinet took a week or two to get back to match fitness. probably thought Michie was a head of Harmes but ill trust the selection. Think jkh just has more impact than Toumpas and his speed can be used as a spreading receiver in the midfield. With garlett and jkh in the team im not sure we needed Stretch or Neal-Bullen as well. Seems a bit of a risk for me when matt jones might have been more settled. Maxie monsters when there is a poor ruck opponent. time will tell.

Dangerfield is coming! Can also vouch - dees now looked on much more favourably in the industry.

Michie - seems rather depressed

We would have to drag him out of the club. He is as loyal as they come.

Initially i thought jimmy was just down on confidence; then more recently i questioned his decision making and defensive awareness. I hope he proves me wromg.

Toumpas's kicking was at times quite impressive. His decision making amd hand balling to team mates under more pressure than he as frustrating - but what people seemed to miss was how often his opponent was able to double team or have an impact on other contests while he was miles away or how his opponent can take an uncontested mark in the forward 50 while he was ten metres away doing nothing. clearly some people forget about defensive aspects and accountability. Losing vanders hurt the most and it was partly young gus that kept us in the game in the third quarter. thought tom mac got owned by cloke but tough matchup. thought Lumumba was having some sort of allergic reaction in the first half. Massive games for vince, cross, gus and n jones.

Vanders was having a major impact and losing him hurt. lumumba was crazy early on.

And Dunn seems to find his best form in a contract year

Unfortunately. Howe has an amazing ability to have no impact of any kind on a game.

Grimes, Watts, Howe will be traded.

an interesting fact given freo approached Sylvia's management with their offer within weeks of Roos being announced as coach.

I think some players are getting a game now just to boost their trade value.

Col is a nice enough bloke. But he and Frawley were part of the problem - trading on talent alone or past all aussie status (frawley). Happy to just be an afl player and float along without ever really showing leadership or accountability for poor effort footy. Col clearly decided to retire two years ago and the club 'fattened the calf' to try and boost the compo calling him a 'required player'.
