Wc forward ok but midfield speed also would be nice.

Ive cooled on delisted players. cant remember a good example of one in recent times that has come back and established themselves at another team. Please correct me if im wrong as i got no sleep.

The history is simple. Our drafting (touch wood) in the last six years has been excellent. Our trading has not been excellent. Dude is 29 and can kick.
Pick 5 is sacrosanct.

Having more good players in the academy lifts the standards and the quality of the academy (other participants) - so there's still benefits of him being there.
That seems like us putting years into players and then letting them leave to me. As in not really a win.

Apparently Christian is going to open a Traccaria on Lygon.

Kynan Brown looked good in the 4 seconds we were able to see him at level.

Hahah yeah you guys are probably right. Freo has some interest apparently after a medical.
Some Carlton friends suggest they havent managed his injuries that well but who knows.

Surprised by this. Blues haven't managed him properly for mine.
Dee's have any interest?

The "Petracca Parma" promo is a smart move by the club to demonstrate that all is now well in the relationship and take some heat off.
Nothing in that advertising campaign mentions our club in any way.

I thought he was gone after last years final series but gees he proved me wrong down back.

We used to recruit players that could run but simply could not kick. They would just run around all day on the field while we got flogged.

I dont mind Membrey. If it was cheap it would be un upgrade on some of our recent trade ins.

My one immediate thought is that he is a greater version of sparrow.
Is Sparrow going to grow into the player he can be?
Are we going to be chasing another flag for the next 3 years? Or should we look to youth.
I'm not sure Sparrow has ever shown he is a 30 touch mid

One speed but a worthy Brayshaw replacement. I can see this happening.

Can I just say watching Carlton tonight that the suggestion McKay was overs or even par for Tracc is laughable. And their midfield is very one-speed already.

And yet 3 to 4 years ago it was said Paddy Cripps best days were behind him from carrying to much of a load, yet he is probably going better now than he ever as. Danger managed perfectly during 22 and Hodge of 2012 to 2015 was far better then the Hodge of 2009 to 2011
Carlton's midfield is a bit one speed like ours tbh.

She is his commercial and brand manager since April, not just his partner. As people have mentioned his player manager advised against this course of action in terms of seeking a trade, they went ahead anyway.
Yeah look I took brand manager as more his social media promotion stuff. But who knows I guess.

There is something odd with Ralphie's statement. I mean could you imagine being the partner of an AFL star just cold calling player agents for legal advice? Seems a bit weird for mine and unlikely.

'I remain committed to playing in the red and blue' - he did not exclude playing for the white! Its official, he is going to the doggies!

For the naysayers who mentioned it was all media noise, Jon Ralph reported on Fox that Petracca and his fiancé both personally approached other clubs to find a trade solution to get out of Melbourne in the last few weeks. They also exhaustively approached pro scouts etc to find a potential trade route. Don’t shoot the messenger.
So if that is true he did a Luke Ball and did everything he could to avoid playing for the dees (in his case again). If true that is pretty sad really.
I mean its kind of like we are a partner that has been cheated on, everyone knows what happened and yet we take the partner back with open arms. lol

Main takeaway from the new Tom Morris comments was that he said that Tracc wanted to go to Collingwood, not to a big club. Thought that was interesting.
Maybe he has realised that the only way not to sustain a catastrophic injury playing the pies is to join them.

Are you kidding? Literally NOTHING he claimed has been verified by Tracc, his manager or family members.
People keep getting secondary sources whispers and what they want to believe is accurate with actual demonstrable facts.
