i very much get the sentiment, I do not care who a player sleeps with, I only care if the play good football. but we do not want to enter into don't ask don't tell territory either if a player wants to come out, but feels he can't that is a problem If a player wants to invite his boyfriend to the Brownlow, but feels he can't that's a problem if a player wants to marry his boyfriend, but feels he can't, that's a problem

we also currently have 46 out of an allowed 44 players with Henderson and Culley as Supplementary listed players for long term injured... so we need to loose two anyway.

I can understand why we have not had a current player come out yet, it is a crappy situation, but i get it. but i have wondered why, for a while now, a past player that has no connection with football anymore has gone... "Who cares, Yeah I'm Gay" you do not want to be the First current openly gay player, as the media and public scrutiny would be massive, partly abusive and very distracting. A past player will get a short moment of media, and that is all but after a few past payers come out, who's lives it will barely effect, it will make it easier for current player to feel comfortable to be themselves in the public eye
