Maybe, and please do not think for a second that I am in any way shape or form defending her, we have some decent offers for Trac now, and seeing how he's behaved and the feelings of the group towards him, she knows a trade is more likely now than it was before? If she has not spoken to him or his family, she's negligent, but equally she might be aware that there are deals being worked out but doesn't want to discuss it in a public forum so to bring more heat? I don't know really.

I am pretty much telling West Coast it's Reid or nothing. And I am telling Freo it's Sarong or Young or nothing. The fact remains that Koz was very keen to leave before, but ended up recommitting. This is nothing new, and if we could work it out before with him while he was OOC, I can't see how we can't work it out with him now that he is contracted.

ANB and Kosi did not re-sign this year. Nor has Trac. Are you saying that JVR, Langdon and Disco who all re-signed this year told the club they want to leave? I am totally agreeing with you on the last part of your post. We absolutely need a review of every position, and I have no doubt that Goody will come under review, as he should. But IMO there are people sitting above him who are a far bigger problem than he is. The overall sense I got is that the players really like and respect Goodwin.

Do you know for certain that Kosi is desperate to leave? Or is that just more media spin? ANB who is the other leader I presume you refer to in regards to 'jumping ship', is not leaving by choice but by necessity. I can tell you categorically that the main reason Kos signed for 4 years, was because of Goodwin. Now if you happen to know who the other players are that are desperate to leave, I would love to get some names, because the recent signings of so many players would indicate that either they are happy, or that we are holding a gun to their head.

How do you feel about club sponsors emailing you? Have you emailed Hertz and New Balance too?

How have we set a precedent? We have categorically stated we won't be trading Trac, and other than one half cocked media report yesterday, has the club said anything about Kosi wanting to leave, let alone that they will let him? Did his manager not come out a week ago and say he was happy at Melbourne? Expressing homesickness and a desire to get home more often is NOT the same as asking to leave. There are different challenges around ANB which neither you nor I have any right to know about. This is the private life of a player and his family, and the whole thing would have been done in a completely different way from both his and the club's perspective, if once again someone had not leaked it! Whoever did leak it, and I have no idea who it was, should be utterly ashamed of themselves. It was a pathetic betrayal of a much loved player, who equally has a lot of love for our club and is very much sad to leave.

Did you read what I wrote about how the perception of our club is damaging it? Do you not think it is the responsibility of the board and management team to control the brand narrative of our club?

And you know this conversation was not had because….? You also realize that the club has known about his desire to get home for a while now and are enraged beyond belief that it was leaked early? Nibbler was open to going to either SA club. Crows were the only ones interested. Hence he is going for maximum value. With someone like ANB, his value to us was always going to far exceed his trade value. It sucks, but much like with Clarry situation, sometimes doing the right thing by your people is more important than “winning”.

Jesus have you ever shopped online or used social media? Because let me tell you the amount of personal information that random strangers have of you on the internet should be far more concerning to you. Peter doesn’t have your TFN and credit card details. He has your email address, the email address you gave the club when you signed up as a member and which you OPTED IN to receiving communication. He is not coming to your house at night to have a chat through your window. He sent you an email that you can read, or delete, or block. He did that because while you may not be interested, he knows that many of our members do in fact care about what he’s trying to achieve. I certainly don’t want my board to be run like a dictatorship. I pay a lot of money to be a member of this club and I want full transparency. It is the least we all deserve.

My biggest gripe with this board and administration, is that they’ve let our brand get so badly damaged. Perception is everything in a business with as much public exposure as ours, and the perception around the MFC for a number of years now is that we are a club with a rotten culture and toxic environment. Now that may well be false, and I strongly believe that our culture is no better or worse than any other club’s. Every club has in fighting, players who party too hard, staff members who are disliked or doing a poor job. But no other club cops as much constant negative attention as ours does. Now it is easy to say to fans ignore the outside noise, but the reality is that this negativity surrounding our club impacts everything. It impacts sponsors and advertisers, it impacts supporter and member numbers, and perhaps most importantly, it impacts our ability to attract top end talent from other clubs. For a number of years now we’ve failed to get the players we’ve been after from other clubs. Not thru a lack of trying, but because nobody wants to walk into a fire. Rightly or wrongly, our club’s board and administration is responsible for the narrative that is out there of our club, and despite our relatively positive on field performances over their time in charge, our brand has never been less desirable. Why are we constantly being talked about as having poor culture? Why are we constantly battling multiple lawsuits? Why have we not been able to quiet the external noises of failure that consistently follow our club? This is the failure of the people who run this club and it’s costing us dearly.

Because you don’t know why Nibbler is leaving. I am not going to say anything else as it’s nobody’s business. Just respect his decision and understand that the club is being accommodating to him for the right reasons.

Do you know why ANB has asked for a trade? Do you know what his family reasons are? I assume you don’t, so please don’t make it seem like his reasons aren’t legitimate and that we are bending over for him when we shouldn’t be.

Not happy with the direction of the club

Yes the Gold Coast is breaming with success having just won 11 games in a season for the first time ever.

What is the purpose of leaking negative news to the media? Nobody in our leadership group needs anymore heat coming their way.

Could have come from someone Kosi casually chatted to perhaps. Could have also been completely taken out of context. One journalist said he’s homesick. Another is saying it’s the direction of the club. I have people who know him better than these journalists who are saying he’s very happy. His manager came out only last week and said he’s happy at Melbourne. I have no idea where this came from, but I don’t think there’s much to it other than genuine desire to spend more time at home, which is miles and miles and miles away from any football club, not just ours. We have always been very supportive of him and his family connections and the only thing I believe in this report is that the club and his manager are confident it can be worked out.

Yes Unless you know why he’s leaving, please stop commenting about it He is leaving for completely legitimate reasons, and if anyone in Trac’s camp is saying otherwise then they’re just spreading vicious lies!

I believe her sister lives in Melbourne too

We saw his home town in the doco. He will never not be homesick. But homesickness does not always mean trade. He was home sick last year too and re-signed for 4 years. Could have signed for 2, could have left. I think the media is working over time to try and feast on steaming carcass that is our club.

Never let the facts get in the way of a good story Mitch Cleary did not report that Kossie has asked for a trade to SA. He reported that there is homesickness and both the club and his management are confident it can be resolved. Like seriously!
