On a side note, I know footy is a tough game, but gees it really broke my heart to see Hunt so sad after the game. He was a real favourite of mine at Melbourne. Always tried his hardest and clearly didn’t want to leave. I wish him all the best. Thought he was very good today!

The young players know the competition for spots is on and they’re all delivering. Sparrow was very very good. He played on Gaff who did nothing. McVee is some sort of revelation. Rivers has really taken his game to another level and Chandler makes me happy. Has been sensational.

He is easily the most underrated forward in the game.

Correct. He still plays like a defender which is totally understandable. It takes time to switch key roles like that. I think we can cover Essendon’s talls without him.
