  1. Or when Carlton sneeze near the ball
  2. This is really a very low quality game. The unforced errors are leading me to believe we are tired from loadingā€¦šŸ˜‚
  3. Except of course McKay. As I said all week, he won’t miss today. It’s beyond me how this only happens to Melbourne.
  4. The goal kicking in this game receives 0 stars
  5. If someone told you back then that the next time he kicks a goal (hopefully), would be after a global pandemic and a flag, you’d laugh and cry and laugh
  6. Would slot nicely on the half forward flank
  7. Is that Lever, Gawn and who is standing with his head down?
  8. Never fear, my husband is coming tonight in a last minute change of mind. 4 points are in the bag… or he will be banished from football and the house forever šŸ˜‚
  9. High hopes. Low confidence. The life of a Melbourne supporter.
  10. Why is everyone suddenly worried about who kicks goals. Because we lost TMac? He isn’t exactly kicking bags at the moment. JVR and Smith can easily get 2 themselves. It’s not like we’ve lost a Coleman medalist. The bulk of our goals need to come from smalls as they have all year. If Fritta can find that magic goal kicking foot of his again, I’d be very thankful.
  11. May will take Curnow. He’s been in better form recently and he has the speed and height for that matchup. Tomlinson will play on McKay. Again good with height there as McKay is very tall. The leaves Lever to take Silvagni which is a far better matchup. Hibbo was never going to play on Curnow. The height difference is too much and would leave us very vulnerable in the air. I am glad we are taking no risks with Hibbo. He is very important against the smaller Pies forwardline.
  12. One of Gawn or Grundy will make it taller I also think we need to clear the 50 for Fritta and Kosi more. It’s been too congested down there.
  13. The best outcome is that Tomlinson recaptures his early 2021 pre ACL form and we get a fit Petty back into the forwardline to save us.
  14. Age and his body has not been kind to him. Not sure he has another year in him, despite contract.
  15. JVR is giving us a lot more at ground level than Brown would. I think Brown will come in at the back end of the season when JVR tires out and we need experience. I think Brown still has a role to play, but he isn’t the future and I’m glad we are getting games into JVR. Gawn and BB in the same forwardline is also the stuff of defensive nightmares. Reckon Hibbo is getting ready for KB. He will have a big role to play, whereas it’s Carlton’s talls we need to worry about this week.
  16. I think we want some pace/athleticism in the side We are struggling badly with ground balls. I think BB will come in when JVR has a rest as he plays a similar role closer to goal.
  17. What’s wrong with TMac? Injured again or just struggling with age? Reckon they’re getting Hibbo cherry ripe for KB. Maybe to play on Adams.
  18. They might drop McVee to give him a rest.
  19. My kingdom for Naughton.... yes please!
  20. Carlton are in bad form, but they are not a bad team. They have two very good forwards and a solid midfield. Their injuries are significant, but we are also missing Oliver and Petty, who are two key players. I would be happy with 4 points that we desperately need. Lose on Friday and we might find ourselves in a 5 game losing streak, as it doesn't get any easier now.
  21. I am not confident at all. They are so badly under the pump, and Cripps copped it in the media will this and will surely come out with a 30 and 3 game this week to prove his doubters wrong. This could end in tears.
  22. The fact they challenged it is seriously a joke. Zorko is a piece of [censored].
  23. He’s a very polished media performer without giving the usual cliches. I don’t have a problem with his answer either.
  24. So you agree with how this process was ā€œresolvedā€? You reckon Clarkson and Fagan are happy with this ending? You seem incredibly angry and hell bent on calling everyone out in here. Do you have some personal involvement in this matter?
  25. This. The only people exonerated right now is Gil and the salesman he got his carpet from. Nobody has been proven guilty or otherwise, but by pulling the classic ā€œnothing to see hereā€ move, all the AFL has once again done is left mud everywhere. Clarkson, Fagan and the HFC will have this mark against their name for a long time regardless of whether it’s deserved or not, and those who made the allegations get no real resolution either. And in the end we’ve made no progress on indigenous relations. But hey, WE SAVED THE BRAND
