I agree that we can win anywhere. What we can’t do is cover key injuries. Nobody can. So I’m all about winning but not at the cost of self preservation.

You don’t need an injury to sub off now. Tactical sub. The tactic is we don’t want our best players injured before finals.

If we know we are playing Thursday, I’d give the AFL the big FU they deserve and make as many late changes as possible. For one I would pull May out. If he gets injured or concussed we are in big trouble.

Couldn’t care less if we win or lose (of course I don’t want to get smashed), as long as we don’t get injuries. A healthy list is the most important factor in winning a flag in September.

Sunday means that whoever plays there will potentially have a short turnaround for the following week.

He is 29. Chances of him winning a flag with North are close to zero.

Which is exactly what should happen. They scheduled 5 potential finals teams on a Sunday for round 24 to maximize viewership. That’s on them. Play 3 games on Saturday or one on Sunday. I don’t care. You cannot possibly disadvantage a side with 11 days turnaround and have a 12 day concussion protocols.

Is there? Make it one of the elimination finals then. Top 4 should be Friday and Saturday nights. End of story.
