Losing Brady for 4 weeks won't be much of a problem. He will be well rested and their back up looks like he can play. Last year Kansas City flogged the pats and I thought their dominating run as a team was over. They get going in the last half of the year. It won't bother the pats being labelled cheaters they should be used to it by now. The first round pick could hurt them. They do draft well but any loss of a first round pick has gotta hurt. Can the yanks stop naming their scandals? Yeah I get the pun by adding gate on the end of everything but it's not that clever anymore.

A power running game and strong defence can get you to the playoffs. Hell we got their with Christian ponder as our QB.

Tom Brady pick 199. They stuff up the draft just like we do. There is a great doco on brady that's been around for a while on brady and his drafting I think it's still on you tube. Maybe the Rams are trying to establish a powerful running game with that awesome defense. They have more stability at QB but probably not a lot of confidence in the throwing game right now. If it were any other division if think the Rams are playoff bound.

Just got back. To be honest if you've got no kids and aren't a signature hunter there isn't much going on but I have kids and they love it. So the draft is coming up. Day one of the draft is a lot of fun with all the trades that go on and the pressure GM's go through whilst on the clock. Another year of hyped up QB's but with my very limited knowledge I wouldn't take either. Winston reads like a johnny football book. I can't believe how much hype was going on with Johnny last year. I got sucked in a bit. My boy Teddy had a horrible pro day and 4 years of game tape were thrown out the window as teams wouldn't touch him. Thank god for that. Mariota doesn't run a pro style offense but everyone keeps saying him and Chip Kelly getting back together would be a match made in heaven. They would have to trade up with maybe Washington. Would you want to trade up and place all bets on Mariota? I dunno it hasn't worked out too well in Washington so far. I'm hoping Minnesota can draft a corner back as all year we really only had one. JKH for me. He can chase and tackle plus his disposal of the ball is pretty good. If bail gets it he turns it over.

Dan Quinn is a great hire. I think being in the NFC South means you could bounce back pretty quick. Receivers can get over paid. Does a good QB make a receiver look better? Maybe so but I'm sure cam newton would want Steve smith back. To me brady and Rodgers are the only two QB's that could win with any receiving group. They make average receivers look so much better.

Over the last 3-4 years the NFL has become my favourite game. We've had discussions about it on here before. It has nothing to do with Melbourne being very poor for me it's the fact that I will watch any game of NFL. I can't say the same for the AFL anymore. I still enjoy going to Melbourne games and I try to go every week with my membership but I would much rather the NFL come along again very soon.

I miss the NFL already. This sucks.
