I have often thought a kpd doesn't have to be particularly tall, but be able to read the ball coming in and have both a good leap and the body strength to not be pushed around in the contest. Good disposal is also important. Our kpds have some of these traits but fail in others.

It's difficult to get insight from watching the game on TV, particularly poxtel, as the camera work is based upon the 'looking through a moving keyhole' film genre. You'd think short of being at the game, TV would be the most direct way of reading the play and understanding strategies. Post game pressers from coach and players are good as they've had less time to homogenise their thoughts and are often quite honest. Personally, I go to the finest post match analysers I know: BBO and Biffen. They do their best work after 15+ frosties, which isn't saying much I guess...

Took a shovel load of intercepts marks against our star studded forward line and Dermie Brereton frothed over him, so yeah, why not... Says more about how dumb we were that with Watts as our key forward, we kept banging it in long for May and Leslie to clunk. Once we lowered our eyes the game changed.

Yes, would be nice to have Spencil back. We looked better with Pedo forward against Suns, he helped to straighten us up. TMac looked out of sorts in the forward line, move him back. Depends upon the oppo match ups, but... In: Spencil, Salem, and hopefully Hogan out: OMac, Wags and maybe Bugg (especially his left foot)
