If you keep going down the draft, the only players that really stand out to me are Lever and Heeney (who also was never going to be available).

No he wouldn't. Stef is a good when he is the #1 ruck - we already have that, we just need someone who can give Gawn a rest but play elsewhere most of the time. Stef never played well in that role.

It's a lot easier to just be a 'body' and compete in ruck contests, than it is to play forward. As people have said above, we need a second forward who can pinch hit in the ruck, not the other way around.

Peyton Manning had multiple, much more serious operations on his neck and came back to set multiple NFL records (including a single season touchdown record) and make it to another Superbowl. All aged 35+. Nathan will be fine.

Jones, Vince, Viney and Tyson are our 4 best mids. I have no problem with any of them - and the latter two particularly are still definitely in the development phase. Brayshaw could be anything, he may well be one of our best in a couple of years. Kent, Salem, ANB have all shown plenty. Stretch has shown a bit. We still need more but I don't agree that we need 4 new players to come in and take up he mantle of 'best mids'.
