  1. Our inability to beat EssUndone, Carlton and StKilda (and Norf) has and will impede our progress to becoming a top team. Actually extremely embarrassing. Those, and our inability to beat ordinary sides consistently at Doglands just sap supporters' emotions and hopes.
  2. Won in that horrible white jumper - maybe not a record but nice to see. Won in Adelaide. Beat Port.

A revolt against him? Why? Not a team man? Should a prospective suitor be concerned?

Losing enthusiasm for the Lyon methods? Who could blame him.

When was he a rookie at EssUndone? Pre or post or during the experimentation era? Just wondering.
  6. #8 Tassie Johnson used to regularly reach the cricket pitch (no centre square in his day) kicking in after an opposition behind. He was the last regular exponent of the art that I can remember, and did it with such beauty.
  7. From the limited footage I have seen of him - I have not watched EssUndone games since their systematic cheating scheme was first revealed - he certainly doesn't appear to be slow though. And he can kick!
  8. He can easily end that. And only he can Invest further, heavily, in this rare investment and get Ox, Neita, or even Dunstall or (God forbid) the Dive Bomber to spend a lot of time with him learning then perfecting how to kick set shots. Any sum would be worth it. As much time as he needs. Just do it.
  9. There seems to be a bit of confusion across these boards - is he not rookie listed? The medical / fitness guys will also have their work cut out too.
  10. Must be why our professional recruiting team went for him then. Pity they didn't consult you first.
  11. Such balanced reporting ? A far more interesting conspiracy theory than many others to date Maybe seed that. Where was it reported?
  12. And of course the MRP had a good look at that too ?
  13. Too late - thanks to Vlad and Dill there is none left.
  14. Exactly my point....and it WILL happen if he continues
  15. The guy is a bloody cheat and he WILL inevitably suffer a significant head, face or neck injury....and some poor bugger will be made to feel guilty about it
  16. It will be interesting to hear the maggot apologists justifying that one. Who actually called the review? Should be shot at dawn, or maybe midnight to avoid time wasting. If whomever asked for it did in response to the defender claiming they had touched they are even more gullible than I could have though. And the evidence to change the call was just not there.
  17. He did nail one of them......a totally inexplicable score review robbed him of that one. Great game young man.
  18. I am sure this explains (if not excuses) some of our inconsistency both within and between games, but we have a group that will hopefully mature together, get to know each other's strengthens and weaknesses, and then will develop more confidence and consistency
  19. Have you ever seen one paid? Should happen - won't happen. AFL too gutless for that.
  20. Some day one of these cheats is going to suffer a serious neck injury and the tackler will be made to feel really badly - the AFL should (but won't) crack down on this and start paying frees against these cheating bastards.
  21. SaberFang - I hope you aren't an alias for Chris (The Joker) Connolly! Could have us pinged for some yet to be defined offence.
  22. Seeing him, in his first few games, just nail those handballs often under intense pressure, just takes my breath away at times. Just awesome.

...presuming that he was fit to play. We never really heard why he missed the preseason and rounds 1 & 2, did we?
  24. Would be if......but they are not and he isn't. IF they (Hunt and Wagner) continue developing as they have started, the selection table will be even more interesting and difficult than it is becoming now. A great place to be.
