How good is it knowing you can't lose the game from here??

Tommy Bugg was named on the ground this week, not on the bench which is where he often appears. That told me the coaching staff liked his game style last week. Today he's taking it a notch higher, but to me it's lifting the team and bringing results. It may be unsociable, but I've hated being everyone's biatch for way too long now.

Met him in the rooms after the game on Monday. Hell of a nice kid. Uncle is Andy Moir, former Dees player 1977-81.

I remember that day Dave. Freezing cold! Hunt got 3 goals that day from memory, but he was only showing occasional flashes. One of his goals (maybe more?) was a cheap over the back run onto the ball in the goalsquare, off the hands of the pack. But he had the pace to burn off an opponent to get it, and the goal sense to be in the right place running past the pack.

Hibberd was an unsung hero. He got to so many contests, and sprinted hard to keep so many Coll fwds under pressure at the contest, that he deserved more recognition. He has been a great pickup. I don't know that we have anyone who is quicker over the ground at the rabbit chase, other than maybe Hunt. Watching from the ground you can also see that he is such a 'go to' guy for our defenders when they're under pressure.

Train is standing room but surprisingly not overly packed coming in from the east. But almost all the colours on board are red and blue.

Correct. Freezing for an indoor venue, today was no different to usual. I was sure the umpires were trying to gift GWS the game in the last few minutes. Good thing that the AFL master plan had another little setback today.

Agree with you Red. And strawberry isn't much better. The rest are good though, but they're not fruit flavours. The moral is: if you want real fruit flavour, stick to real fruit.

Not a bad thing that Bucks wins tonight. Looks like he's not taking the Pies anywhere soon, so best if he's kept in the drivers seat for as long as possible.
