  1. I was at Casey on the weekend and was surprised at the aggression that Woonaeamirri showed towards the opposition. He attempted to shirtfront Coburg players on at least 3 occasions. He is quite dangerous in this situation because he is very solidly built in the upper body and shoulders and not being tall can get you under the chin. I dont remember him being this aggressive when he made his debut in 2008. Perhaps the long run of injuries has frustrated him a little. He might be another Pickett. Perhaps a good thing - make the opposition players a bit wary. Theres not a lot of mongrel in most of our other players.
  2. A lady at my work says she knows him through footy circles and says he's very level-headed and doesn't drink - no wonder he has so much left in the tank in the last quarter
  3. Like everybody else I hate this place too. However we have to play on it. The Captain did not show leadership by displaying his discontent for the surface. This gives a message to the others (particularly the young ones) that this ground is not worth playing footy on. Dont get me wrong - I think his leadership has been very good this season however this petulant display was disappointing.
  4. I would like to see him spend most of the game at full forward. He has the build and height to fill this position and it is not slow (was second in the Grand Final sprint). With the defence becoming a great unit ,midfield with upcoming youngsters in Trengove,Scully ,McKenzie (who I am a rapt for as much as the previous two) the thing we really lack is a big forward. I thought Petterd had enough opportunities to kick 5 Sat night and we can't expect him to kick the majority of our goals eah week. Garland started slowly but got better as the game went on. He will improve as the season goes on.
