  1. Oh I hope not he might get shot down!
  2. I suggest no aligned club were interested.
  3. I have zero confidence in that happening George.
  4. Spot on, have they ever surveyed the members? No. A minority have the ear of the board and seemed weld to the G. However my discussions last year with a board person said otherwise.
  5. Reduce the price surely you jest, put the gfg seats up is more likely.
  6. As I understand it in the NBA if you cannot attend the club takes back the seat and onsells to someone on your behalf. Seems sane to me.
  7. I will cop as much as possible Mr. Leg.
  8. The GD1 won their game today, as they say wins are gainers. She copped a heavy knock to the floor in the last 30 seconds. On the way home she said I know her and her number there will be a next time!
  9. As I said Ernest my first game since the demise of the Tigers, we go to watch our GD every game and I go to lower league matches.
  10. And we don’t play Richmond what gives! It’s a joke really. At least I get to go to windy hill and coburg.
  11. Correct 2nds sides ceased a few years back.
  12. Last night I went to my second sporting love with my daughter and no.1 granddaughter. It was a finals match between SEMelb Phoenix and Perth. Yes basketball. The first NBL match I have been to in a very long time. My daughter and I were Tigers fans from way back. When the owners dumped the Tigers to become Melbourne United we quit. My grand daughter loves playing and is good in her age group. She was barracking for the phoenix, I was very quiet because in the Tigers days SEMelb. we’re the mortal enemy. We had a good night and she is more into basketball than ever before. It was a good night but the razzmatazz was over done IMO. Too much and a lot of wasted effort. The other thing that surprised me was that it was not full. 80% but a do or die final and they could not fill the stadium. Oh Perth won after being behind most of the night. There is some justice in the world after all.
  13. Demonstrates you are not a quitter Mr. Leg.
  14. Because they have an existing ground it is that simple. We have ground zero.
  15. As soon as one level changes its mind the project fails. I am glad I am not trying the get this up.
  16. Are you still abstaining from banana smoothies Mr. Leg?
  17. One day of the year hardly justifies having a social club facility. I have a number of friends who are long term members of clubs i.e Richmond and Collingwood who never go to the social clubs they are a hang over from the 1970's. They are way more concerned about maintaining their seats on game day, too many members is their problem.
  18. I think we are lucky to be in this position. The down side is players leave if they cannot get senior games e.g. Bedford.
  19. That is very similar to the conversation I had with someone from the club last year. This G area compulsion is from a vocal minority that seem to have the ear of the board. They are locked in the 1950's. The G area vanished when we missed out on Olympic Park.
  20. Thank you for that. Why is it that the AFL/VFL persist with this one round at a time release? I know it is to keep us all paying attention but I find it extremely frustrating. Publish the lot please!
  21. I think I have some of those DC. The height of class back then.
  22. I know the feeling well DD. Hang in there you need another ten years I reckon.
  23. The mighty Hawks home of Rod Ashman and others who played for Carlton.
  24. Hell no! Country Victoria.
  25. Correct but it wasn't that one.
