I think the blueprint is pretty obvious. Goody clearly loves a a dynamic and versatile team and Wagner's inclusion is evidence of that.

Wagner allows us to play all of Hunt, Jones, Vince and Lewis in a variety of roles which will hopefully work in our favour. Tyson cannot play any position other than inside mid and his inclusion restricts Goody's creativity.

Maynard is the interesting one for me, because similarly to Tyson I see him being fairly one-dimensional. But maybe Goody and co have some ideas of roles come game day.

All-in-all it's a fairly strong side all over the ground, unlike Geelong's 22.

    Yeh it makes perfect sense:

    Wagner - Menzel

    Lever - Hawkins

    Omac- Ratugolea

Get those key Geelong players sorted and we can seriously let rip outta defense. Wagner is a good selection.

I am as passionate as the next Demonlander but , I am heavily Scared and Scarred of another false dawn built around the coulda, woulda, shoulda, actualization of the club!

That’s loser talk. Think like a winner, be a winner!

I’d be scared if the players were scared to take the next step. But when I look into Jack Vineys dreamy brown eyes, I see an intensity that makes me feel like everything will be alright.

Callin it now, Dees 1st, will win flag. Can’t wait to say “I told ya so”.

Well i certainly hope so, but it doesn’t say a lot for his Captaincy

If 14 players have gone behind Goodwin and Jones we are in real sh!t

Look at it this way: 14 players have been exposed. They’ve got an entire season to prove that they aren’t soft [censored]. Unleash hell boys or [censored] off.

Unfortunately contacting the footy department will have no impact.

I don't believe they listen to us, the members, (that includes me who remains as yet unsigned after round 23).

Last 2 years I have asked them not to send YET ANOTHER SCARF in my pack.

Made no difference because they are not listening. I want a year patch I can sew onto my scarf, not a new scarf every flaming year.

What, I'm going to find a use for them? It's landfill.

They just want my money and despite taking out my first membership in 1964 I'll be blowed if I will support them in 2018.

What's it matter - the AFL will prop us up anyhow, my cash won't make a scrap of difference in this day and age.

After 50+ years of being a member, that’s the reason you’re not renewing?? Bizarre.

Can't see us winning this. Regardless of the weather our efforts, structure and disposals have been awful. Tackling is not AFL standard and hasn't been for a month. North simply want it more.

That kind of attitude ain't gettin ya nowhere. We're the better team. Back the boys in ffs

So, does he play a "team" role or does he try to win kicks to look good?

If given a "role" on someone or a position, may not showcase his abilities.

If he goes "off plan" he get a black marks from coaching staff.

    Bloody difficult for him!

There is no doubt whatsoever Jack will play the "team role".

Thats the kinda guy he is. Just imagine, Trengove lightning it up in September.

    Geez... I gotta sit down

Best win of the year.  Most complete performance we have had in a long time and it was so good to watch.

We beat the Dogs up at their own game and made them look second rate.  We are physical, our pressure is unbelievable and we can beat ANYONE in the competition.

If you can find a negative out of that then you are looking in the wrong place.  Everyone played their role and everyone gave something positive.

And great psyche out from Tommy Bugg.  The boy knew what he was doing!

Out of all you're posts (nearly 6.5 thousand of em) this would have to be one of the best.

We're a threat if we believe we are.

Obviously you guys are loving Bugg, but that was pathetic. Blind sides Easton Wood, then goes down far to easy for a free shot at goal.

Guess you can say it's smart play, but I don't think anyone wants that sort of behaviour or play rewarded with a goal.

But other than that, you guys are all over them and will win this.

Doggies in real strife in missing out on the finals

Nah stuff it mate, you take whatever you can get!

Bugg has his flaws and being an unlikeable bloke pays off from time to time.

I know Nev is a good mark for his size, but for gods sake man stay down when there are 4 talls going for a pack mark!

Maybe that's a sign of the confidence Nev has in our talls

Thoughts on Paul Roos saying Oscar McDonald should swing forward as he "was a good forward as a kid" DL ?

Well he'd certainly be less likely to have half a dozen snags kicked on him. I like it!!

Clarko is pretty well respected by his peers, by his club, his players and revered by the members 72, 552 of them ( currently )

He doesnt suffer fools ( nor do I ) and I seriously doubt he would give a stuff what they do or dont think about him.

JB...your good self alludes to speaking via winning.  2008 2013 2014 2015   I hear ya  loud and clear !!

    You've got me there BB.

Though there should be a gentlemens agreement about listing hawthorn premierships on demonland to prove a point.
