  1. Get with the times WCW. It's the [censored] King's English.
  2. [censored] oath Luci ! I'm with you !
  3. My god ..... what a shallow and thoughtless post. You can spout about the morality of war, the legality of war, the righteousness of war all you like. The Anzac Day services, memorials or events aren't about that. They are about recognising ordinary Australians who did extraordinary things and suffered extraordinary hardships in service of their country. It is about honouring plumbers, nurses, schoolteachers, farmers, carpenters etc who did what they had to do ...and more. And having 85000 people recognise this and be reminded of this can only be a good thing. Your comment about a "disguised recruitment drive" is distasteful and disrespectful. I will say no more on the matter.
  4. FMD! I am officially denoting you as a lost cause in the service of Aussie slang WCW.
  5. WHAT !!!!!!!! We are recognising and honouring men and women who fought, were wounded , were captured , and oh ...gave their lives in the service of their country. "over the top " - [censored] off !!
  6. FFS WCW will you stop using that dreadful American import "word"! It looks ugly and sounds uglier - although I doubt I could utter it without vomitting. I don't think I've even heard the maniacal "serpent catchers" on that fascinating Fox programme about "Swamp people" use it. The insidious undermining of Aussie English by septic tank slang is driving me bonkers. I'm about to spit the [censored] dummy.
  7. As I said Dub - "at the moment" - there are no April premierships.
  8. Hate to say it but they are miles in front of anyone - at the moment.
  9. Didn't last long.
  10. The [censored] has dropped out of that option.
  11. Less so now. Geez that Johnson can kick. He does that regularly!
  12. I've had a good bit of Essendrug at $2.57 .... I'm happy.

  15. Thankfully the que for booze is still tolerable
  16. What [censored] me is the "rule of the week" rule. I.E Any particular rule is interpreted strictly ( harshly) one week and then apparently put back in the filing cabinet for some future round.
  17. “Mr Whippy” Gotta love that name!!!
  18. Maybe I’m becoming “woke” Trigon !
  19. Good heavens Red! What a philosophical mix! It's making my brain more scrambled than my breakfast eggs.
  20. My good self and my entourage shall commence pub crawling our way to the G at around lunchtime. I am fully confident of enjoying a comprehensive victory tonight and, with that in mind, have given my Sportsbet account a jolly good thrashing.
  21. I have long considered myself the only sane poster on this thread. I have seen no evidence to change that view.
  22. Geez the Crows stole that!
  23. He's a fine looking lad - pity about the name.
