At least I can still access the educational sites that Biffen recommends to me.

On a serious note, the sports science experts at cricket Australia, recently commented about the inability of young men to withstand the rigours of fast bowling until they were around 23, 24. I know Jesse's a big lad but, FMD, what does it take to stand as a key forward with big bastards smashing in to your back?
-
Don't any of you simpletons remember who was "most efficacious" ?

Demons season opener v Saints

I want Watts delivering the ball into our key forwards. He is not a key forward and, while I have seen him win one on one marking contests, I have not seen him take a strong "pack mark". Watt's can be a fantastic contributor to our side but not as a key forward. I just hope we get at least one of those big bastards back asap. -
Bah!!! Despite all the smartarse comments above - I still have the problem.
-
Bah!! Thanks for nothing.

On a positive note ...

I am positive that my happiness will improve exponentially with the amount of shite that drops on Essendon. -
Yes, I remember that. A season that hung on "special" goals, if ever there was one.
-
Just tried it as we speak OD. All I get is the "reply to this topic" box sans quote. Gnasher is always reading my posts perhaps he can offer an explanation.
-
I have to say I don't remember Hassa ever kicking 7 goals. No doubt someone will look it up.
-
Yes, I'm sure you are Red but answer my bloody question!
-
Great post DC. I can't copy or quote but that comment about handball is a classic. I guess supporters have been calling out "kick the bloody thing" even longer than OD can remember.

Good question DC. I am still searching for a quality artisan to carry out the job to my precise specifications. -

Yeah imagine the game day thread if we knock of the saints! Should run a book. -
My computer has been discharged from hospital with a warning about taking more care with the company it keeps. Now maybe it's me but I've tried to use the quote button this arvo and it's not working. Anyone else noticed?

C & D Grade Players who becomes Consistent!
Bitter but optimistic replied to ashdemons22's topic in Melbourne Demons
Blease has real dash and the ability to take on the game. However, this type of player has hardly been suitable for the shite our team has been in recent years. In a team that actually can win and hold the ball, as hopefully we are learning to do, Blease may be able to use his particular abilities freely. It will be interesting to see if gets the opportunity. -
None of "the lads" In that photo. They'd be getting a last shag in before the firestorm hit.
-
Thanks Dc . You borewood types must have time on your hands. You' re either shagging the blue rinsers, manicuring brazillians or trolling the net.
-
Not bad OD, thanks. Watching the cricket. My computer has had a couple of antibiotic shots but must go to hospital tomorrow. Full of Malware and other shite.

I realize people will call me a pretentious snot or pedant (truish) R&B, but that is a metaphor.

Ha Ha. That brings back memories Whispering. I worked with a bloke for 5 years, then he told me he was really a woman. His missus let him dress up in her clothes provided he didn't do it in front of the kids!

Here's one to ponder OD. The saints look ordinary. Now imagine your player X lining up in round 1. He happens to be in the right place at the time at the feet of Hogan and/or Dawes and snags 3 or 4. He'll be in for the next 6 weeks!
