Bitter but optimistic

Hahahha bb! Therein is the wonderful irony. It was a good time but Vego/Greeny was too plastered to remember it! PS. His Sunday morning face was the same colour as his politics!

Well I survived the road trip with Moonie - just! I have to say that these Greenies certainly show their true (un green) colours when out and about. It only took 6 or maybe 8 pots of beer before Moonie starting harassing a group of innocents who were unfortunate enough to be seated in front of us. However, in all generosity I dismissed that anti social behaviour as a reaction to the shitty football result. The best was yet to come. I foolishly took Moonie to a halfway decent restaurant in Kingston. While perusing the menu, Moonie was quaffing reds at a furious rate ...and ... after some time, gave the waitress quite detailed sotto voce instructions. Well the meal that subsequently arrived would have challenged a starving T-Rex. It was a mountainous platter loaded with the remains of just about every unfortunate critter I could imagine. "Vego" Moonie ripped into it while simultaneously pouring down sufficient red to douse a bushfire. Just when I didn't imagine it could get any worse, Moonie decided to join a nearby group who were celebrating a birthday. "Join" is inaccurate - he decided to be MC. He led several renderings of "happy birthday" and gave, some rather "familiar" hugs ( read feel ups) to all present females. I managed to drag him out before the police were called only to have him abuse and vilify an unfortunate taxi driver. It cost me a substantial tip to soothe that matter. I dumped the drunken sot at the hotel and went to visit some respectable associates at Fyshwick. FMD!

Clown Head in a Demons jumper!! FM double dead!! And FM triple dead! I'd sever something very personal if that happened. I'm going to have very bad dreams tonight!

Moonie will need more than bon voyage dc! I have organised some special (well not to me) Saturday night entertainments. PS. A message to picketfence . If you arrive at The Manor on Saturday morning you will not be admitted.

Well Red,one is that I'm driving the Merc up there and I'd hate to add a few tons to the "greenhouse" without seeing a win. I also will note that my greeny passenger (well known in these parts) seems happy enough to forsake principle in order to travel in luxury.

A chance to consolidate a place in the eight and we lacked the toughness to beat a side well below us. We folded again when we needed to stand up - it was a really terrible/weak performance in a crucial game And to top it off ................... we make clown head look like Tony Lockett .....again! [censored] disappointing!

Turnovers! Poor decision making! Back to our old habits Just not [censored] good enough!

Ive backed the dees to win by 40+. And confident ................. provided we kick with the wind in the first quarter.

The changes are a bit late. Without Stuie, there's bugger all to get angry at. Mmmm.......... perhaps I'll indulge in a bit of self anger and give myself a jolly good thrashing.

It's really interesting (and sometimes disturbing) to read the different perspectives on a game. I gave both Tyson and Omac votes yet clearly others disagree - vehemently. That's sport I suppose. I also find it interesting how so few of Demonland's membership give votes - even when we win!
