Saw Jo Jo Zep a few weeks ago at Bimbadgen winery In the Hunter Valley on a bill headlined by Elvis Costello and accompanied by The Sunnyboys, Tex Perkins and Steve Cummings. Great show, and Jo Jo Zep were possibly better than they were back in the 70's!

AFL website still only has the radio broadcast details for last weeks round of matches... yet they have the TV broadcast info up for this week. No idea if that means anything other than the fact that maybe they are incompetent.

Agree... also, I wonder what percentage of MCC members are MFC supporters? On the GWS member numbers, you will find that in a couple of years if they are not doing well, memberships will be dropping off at a rapid rate; generally speaking, Sydney people are fair-weather supporters, much more-so than their Melbourne counterparts.

Was only half paying attention, but I am pretty sure 'Robbo' on AFL360 last night said something about expecting to hear an announcement around mid-season (he mentioned a round, but as I said, I wasn't paying close attention). I'm also pretty sure he mentioned what he thought might be the penalties they could expect.

Why are people so quick to believe the negative rumours? No one has posted anything confirming Demon Land 7's supposed sighting (could even have been someone who resembled T Mc), so I suggest you relax a little until it is either confirmed or debunked. I just noticed in the article on the MFC website re Imogen's lost guernsey, the photo is of her with young Tom McD... was he the last person to see that jumper and is it possible he was kneecapped in a dark alley as a result? Would explain the injury.

Funniest thing about that is that the game (a NAB cup game) took place between Adelaide and the Pies in Dubai in 2008... and yes, Sellar did kick a few. Nice to see a journo in Ashley Porter who really takes the time to research their facts.

He was playing on Trengove, a highly respected back... so, no matter how you look at it, it was a good effort regardless of whether it was NAB or AFL.

Seriously, people here are getting upset over nothing. Sure the commentary is extremely biased, but there had been 4 or 5 pages of preamble on this thread that had established that that would be the case... so no surprises there. The way I treat it is to get excited every time that the commentary quietens down. And to say that they have said something good about Davey only is nonsense... I have heard a few complimentary comments directed at other players and to our forward line pressure generally.
