The way you carry on RF, anyone could be excused for thinking that the ABC comprises nothing but left wing political coverage and nothing else... when in fact it has, over the years, produced some of the greatest Australian products for television which get far more airtime than any of the political coverage. The best bar none, locally produced comedy has come out of the ABC, some of the best Australian produced dramas and some of the best Australian produced documentaries. I am more than happy to have my taxes go into funding the ABC for those very reasons.

I have absolutely no problem with him at all... I really cannot understand why so many dislike him and why anyone would have an issue with him reverting back to a name he had in the past.

I'm sure I read in an article a couple of weeks ago (I think it was), that ASADA would be "inviting" (read "dragging") Danks before them in January.

On what do you base that? I'm not across all things drugs in sport related, but I can't say I'm aware of anything that ASADA has turned a blind eye to. And as ASADA are directly answerable to WADA, I doubt very much that they will be wanting to put themselves in a position where they themselves could come under investigation by their higher authority.

You can be certain that Roos will be concentrating most of his efforts in training into getting the midfield happening... and with the experience of Jones, Vince and Cross coupled with the enthusiasm and skills of Viney, Michie, Tyson and others, they should be able to make reasonably big leaps forward over the pre-season.

For starters, it was not just the word "aboriginal", it was the association of lack of dedication with aboriginality. Would you say Judd was dedicated? Would you say Scully was dedicated? Would you say Thomas was dedicated?... we could go on and on listing dedicated and non dedicated players of both aboriginal and european origins. I would not be singling out one single group as I would say that could never be proven one way or another. There are many many players of aboriginal origins who have helped clubs go on to great things and who have shown thorough dedication to their task and to their club and team mates. All in all, a ridiculous assertion.
