  1. You mean Suns I think
  2. As is Rivers in defence. I'm really pleased for him though.
  3. In (kind of) 3 words... Surely you're takingthepiss!
  4. Yes, but to what effect? He was probably up against a better side in Port anyway.
  5. You're saying that sitting on the bench all night would have been better than actually getting game time with Casey?
  6. Didn't you know... they're going to be fighting us for the spoon.
  7. Casey FC tweeted the best players: "Best players for the day: J. Fitzpatrick, D. Kent, V. Michie, P. Pattison, J. Spencer, A. Brayshaw"
  8. Now Collingwood's Jack Crisp has been named as being investigated for the same offence. Coincidentally, the Pies play the Doggies tonight.
  9. And these types of posts are just plain rude and uncalled for.
  10. The biggest problem I see is that they still take too long to make decisions.
  11. Bails was off and he upped stumps.
  12. Let's hope the club honours his memory today by absolutely demolishing the Bummers!
  13. If ever further proof of the risks of illicit drug consumption was needed, there it is!
  14. It's been a bad few moinths for bass players, first this gentleman (Jack Bruce) and just in the past week or so, Free's Andy Fraser (see my post in the Nuggets thread). Most remember Jack for his blues and rock and most particularly for Cream, but he was a very accomplished jazz musician... With the Jazz Composers Orchestra (Carla Bley, John McLaughlin, Gato Barbieri etc)
  15. Vale Andy Fraser.... bass player extraordinaire
  16. And, if I had any, I would be almost willing to put money on the fact that Barrett himself has indulged in the weed at some time in his life (would be very very few who haven't in this day and age). Hell, even Piers Akerman is great mates with Kinky Friedman... so anything is possible.
  17. Not to mention that it seems there is a direct correlation between the number of years as a cellar dweller and, as much as I detest the expression, the pea-heartedness of a team's supporters (I'm sure someone here must have a scientific formula they could provide us with as definitive proof).
  18. Has there ever been a start to an AFL season to match this one in terms of controversy and scandal?
  19. Mine is a gut feeling that rates up there with the "vibe" defence... but none-the-less, if we have had a gut-full as mere spectators, imagine how WADA and ASADA would be feeling having been dealing with it first hand.
  20. If the EFC and AFL think they can lord it over WADA, I think they will be in for a rude shock. If there is an appeal against the AFLs decision, then I would be very surprised if any subsequent penalties were to be backdated. I get the feeling that ASADA and WADA have had a gut-full of EFC and the AFL and will not suffer them gladly if the AFL gives the EFC what is in essence a slap on the wrist.
  21. You missed the bit just above the hand drawn sketch... "found this on a us site"
