Sound like Terlich is the same old same old in terms of his disposals, which would explain his non-appearance in the NAB games. There'd been plenty of good reports around him this off-season, for a while there I'd wondered if he was in the bad books for missing some of Tammi's yoga classes.

Unfortunately though, there's no way of guaranteeing that that rookie spot would be with us. Still, anything he can do to help Casey along will be a plus.

Tom McDonald needs to take a good hard look at himself.

Lumumba. -
No accident that the "winners" in your list have all been in the system a year or more longer than your "losers" (excepting Grimes).
-
Winning isn't based on who deserves to win ... if it was, we could skip the H&A season and just go straight to the finals! I'll take whatever (legal) help we can get. The record book will only ever show who got the points.

I see you're on a roll today Biff with the French, and it's fine work of course, but ... "mensonges", and almost certainly the lies would be "des" not "les". Also, no doubt you're up to speed on the spelling reforms that have just come into place, but the circumflexes on "être" and "êtes" aren't included.

I think they mean Casey/VFL.

If it keeps on getting warmer, pretty much what it's going to feel like. Anyway Pedo, pay the fine. Lucky.

Angus Brayshaw's knee injury (minor strain - 4 weeks)

Suspect you're right. -
Most teams seem fairly similar apart from one or two players. Harmes deserves a run for mine, but not sure who you leave out. He offers more than Kennedy IMHO, though not to take anything away from Kennedy either. The other variable is Lumumba. If he's fit, which he seems to be, he'll be included. As for Oliver, as much a fan as anyone, but wonder whether we won't hold him back. GWS's greatest strength is in their midfield, perhaps there could be some reluctance to throw him in the deep end quite just yet. A start against Essendon might make more sense. Whatever happens, going to be some unlucky players.

Too complicated.

Winner: Apart from those mentioned above, Matt Jones. He may not be a first choice player, or even do enough to get his contract renewed, but has shown a lot more that what he's been credited for thus far. Shame he got a knock yesterday, would have been another opportunity to see where he's (really) at.

Saturday Talking Point: The NAB Challenge

Jamar with 2 goals, Don's equal top scorer. Says something about where they are. Long season ahead, but I wonder which team they'll beat. -
Probably, but hard to blame Harmes for all of that. If his only fault is inaccuracy in front of goals, he'll be doing OK.
-
Garland won't be replaced, he's not in the leadership group and consistently in the top 10 in the B&F for nothing, regardless of what Demonlanders think. All Garland needs is to play alongside Dunn (kicking) or Lumumba (run). Lumumba's run sometimes gets him into trouble, but that real hell-for-leather attack off half-back is something that no-one else does.

Harmes in the Round 1 Team. Kent ... not sure he's there yet. Like what Bugg brings, but sooner or later, he'll have to improve his disposal/kicking, or be replaced by someone who doesn't. Wagner still a way to go, but as observed above, he did improve in the second half. Seems to know what to do, but as with Bugg, disposal, disposal, disposal. Frost still a work in progress. Like his mobility around the ground, but he needs to do more with it. A few (more) glimpses today though. Getting harder to see a place or role for Grimes. Let's hope Max Gawn stays fit and healthy.

Lumumba will be in the team if fit, and given that he played at Casey yesterday ...

Not just if we lose.

Pre-match thread: NAB Challenge Game 3 - St Kilda v Melbourne
bing181 replied to DemonLad5's topic in Melbourne Demons
For those asking about ANB, covered in some detail in his "Wecome to ..." thread. Has had a succession of minor injuries/niggles, now behind him. Apparently playing at Casey this Saturday. -
She wasn't warned by WADA. And the only warning she received, was one that all tennis players received from their association, letting them know of upcoming changes in the classification of a product.

If they were approved for human use, they don't fall under S0.

Especially given he was V.C. last year. No forwards amongst them ... which shows how young/inexperience the list still is.
