  1. It's worth noting that if we dropped Davey it would free up the opposition tagger to take someone else out of the game.
  2. I guess Roost It is pointing out that for all the credibility that site has, you may as well just link to a post of some guy or gal on Demonland.
  3. I agree. Bail to Ablett, unless we want to teach Gys by having him follow him around.
  4. I can't tell you for sure, but I reckon it would have been mentioned in one of the AGM-related threads so you could search there. From memory it was a couple of thousand more than last year.
  5. Judd's Grandmother told me she saw Eddie slip something into Moloney's water.
  6. Quick question: When Roos was coaching who else did we have to tag?
  7. Hah - I didn't even realise they raised the flag after the game.
  8. Fair enough; sounds like Roos didn't actually say the Dees underrate Jones.
  9. Did he explain why he thinks the Dees underrate him? We've picked him in the seniors for pretty much every game in the past four years (22 in 2010, 20 in 2009, 21 in 2008, 21 in 2007) and we don't hide him in a back pocket either.
  10. Did Paul Roos suggest that the Dees underrate Jones, or did you mean something slightly different?
  11. Haha, wow - that's ridiculous. Asked about the sixes, Watson gave this nice response:
  12. What the poster actually said is 'he doesn't have problem X, he has problem Y'. (You might think X and Y are the same in this instance, but the sentence makes sense).
  13. Schwab has denied this. Apparently the bar has gone through CCTV and spoken to people at the time and, according to them, it didn't occur.
  14. If I'd been drinking something when I read that I think it would have ended up on the monitor.
  15. Clearly the Melbourne website should add a column next to the membership tally so that we can keep track of Viney's height.
  16. I think that if Blease ever made the seniors he'd become my 'lovechild'.
  17. Newton seems to have an uncanny knack of becoming unavailable when he's nearing selection. That's my understanding.
  18. What I'm concerned about is not the times when they look up and see everyone manned up, it's the times when we win the ball in the middle and the guy with the footy is virtually the closest to goal.
  19. You're on the money. Morton's kick was probably a poor option however we structured up, but it's an obvious one to point to. Most examples are less obvious though - they're when you'll see a player streaming through the middle who suddenly - inexplicably, if you don't look down field - stops, props, and goes sideways or backwards.
  20. I imagine you're talking about the Dutch killings, and if that's the case I take it that you think geography is irrelevant - it's big news regardless of whether it happened in Melbourne/Aus. If that's the case, why is that murder worthy of higher billing than the countless people dying in 'the third world' (including countries closer to us than the Netherlands) every day? How about those dying in a war we're actually involved in? Anyhow, this isn't a thread about media analysis so perhaps we should leave it there
