  1. Can't do any harm. I might need to partake in some prior liquid spirits to attain a state of mind befitting the occasion.
  2. It was an inadvertent head impact with the turf in contest IIRC not much after TMac's corking IIRC. Bang bang.
  3. Confucius say: “The hardest thing of all is to find a black cat in a darkroom, especially if there is no cat.”
  4. What, running dead? Phhttt!! WE gave him fifty-odd games and he might have had 16 or more once. He is as soft as he is neat, it just doesn't work.
  5. I do admit it's good to see Clark and Dawes doing so well.
  6. Looks like a lot of infernal nonsense to me.
  7. Is hardly significant at this time but should have some meaning at the halfway mark (however you wish to calculate it).
  8. With due respect I'd reckon OD might aspire more towards a Peter Cundall.
  9. It's refreshing at least that the voting is keen, even in a loss. There have been plenty of games over the past few seasons where voters have struggled to nominate someone beyond Nathan Jones.
  10. WE're gonna need someone to neutralise Bennell's run off half-back, he had 16 touches (5/11) yesdy.
  11. He also offers photos of the same loved ones and a range of other subjects for retail sale through his website which has a different tenor and would hardly be covered by the clause which you propose.
  12. Waiter, this man needs more vodka, much more
  13. I was up-country and listened-in on my 6 transistor AWA Radiola pocket transistor radio. Same age as WJ. I sat on the roof of our two-storey home with the same radio listening to the wondrous second-semi.
  14. Nah, a very young Frank: http://demonwiki.org/tiki-index.php?page=Frank+Davis
  15. He clearly doesn't like the new game plan and still believes his low-possession, low scoreboard-pressure derivative was the way to go.
  16. It may well come to that with a spread of indices tied to forseeable game plan. Such a plan might even eg incorporate a couple of of high-index fast-twitch types. It probably wouldn't hurt either to examine pedigrees (but no doubt this is anyway done in a discreet and polite manner). An Ablett X Tuck progeny clearly offers a superior blend of muscle tissue types and the pudding has thus been proven.
  17. Terry Wilkins, Tony Dullard, Ted Carroll or John Tilbrook?
  18. It makes me feel sad when I read all of those names
  19. I used to "Have an Ale with The Whale" quite frequently. Yeah, he didn't seem all that convivial. Against that he was on SEN last year and seemed to not be a bad bloke, witty even.
  20. We're not big on relative muscle fibre theories here on Demonland. I've mentioned Fast Twitch/Slow Twitch ages ago and it stimulated little or no discussion. We'd rather believe that anything is possible with sufficient workload. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/drobson33.htm Scroll to Can We Alter Our Fast-Twitch/Slow-Twitch Composition?
  21. "Just blow into this and don't stop until I tell you".
