I like this weeks ins all big bodies

This should give the boys a real lift! I expect us to go hammer and tongs on the weekend.

I think we are pretty good at the contested ball and have a good forward line. We do however constantly get found out with teams with good outside run,and our defence seems to lack as a consequence. So we are still a young side and a work in progress which needs to get better in tightening up and negating sides,especially when they are in transition. Maybe not kidding ourselves but perhaps a bit premature in our expectations. Untill we can string together three of four wins on the trot and beat some really good opposition consistently then we can't be considered a really good side.

What I don't get, is that we spent two years under Roos getting our defence right first, and this year we are more attacking. Well what happened to the defence?

I thought our lack or forward line pressure was a stand out yesterday. If you look at the games we have won, our pressure on the opposition kicking it out ,was manic. Yesterday it was a stroll in the park for Port Adelaide.

I wouldn't get too excited.....without Viney and an unorganised defence,I'd be surprised if it wasn't a ten goal loss.

I've got a great idea,it's pretty revolutionary though. MAN UP!!! If the opposition have the ball in their hands in their back line,and say you are playing in the wing,then how about going with your man instead if guarding space five metres away from him?

I'd somebody to ask Roos what is our plan B? if we are getting beaten in contested ball and beaten easily in transition,why do we persist with this diamond defence? When we do the game just gets beyond us and it's too late. Couldnt we switch to a man on man defence for certain periods when we are being dominated like that?

Watts was easily one of our best today.

Garland must be great behind the scenes because is is an ordinary leader on field.

We don't like it when the opposition come to play.

Garland gets a sack on the face ,one man down, easy goal to Port. That's probably the game.

Really poor disposal today....in a word, disgusting.

It seems if we lose possession in our forward line its and easy transition goal to them. I can't believe we haven't fixed this up yet this year,as we did nothing to change things against the saints and bombers. There is something terribly wrong with our game plan when we are in transition,

We won the first quarter then totally went to water....they deserve a huge rocket at half time.
