  1. Aren't/weren't iSelect Hawthorn (male team) sponsors?
  2. Helps if I read the article. And that is why, ladies and gents, I try to avoid making trade suggestions.
  3. Questions over his inconsistent leadership. Otherwise, he does fit us perfectly.
  4. Yep, or you can track like Hawthorn did and pinch one early. History does tell us Hawthorn is the anomaly though. And RE: GWS, they'll be tough competition, but I think they'll keep losing players and this upcoming finals campaign could set them up for sustained success or heap a monkey on the shoulder. I don't fear them as some seem to. Leon Cameron reminds me of Brett Ratten as a coach and their culture seems a little ordinary, then again, so was Collingwood's in 2010. Anyway, premiership success is never assured. Injuries and other forms of luck can have a huge say. What would we think of the Gold Coast now had O'Meara, Swallow, Ablett and Prestia been able to get on the park regularly? A few months ago I tipped GWS for the flag, but they could just as easily fail to win one in this generation. Yes, they're packed with talent, but I don't think you can buy a premiership, you can do your best to set it all up as the AFL have with unprecedented access to top end talent, but as we've seen with the Suns, anything can happen and that's before culture even comes into it.
  5. Well, he's right on that score then. PD will have a field day with this. Another poster having trouble gleaning the true essence of a media report.
  6. If he is as talented as some suggest, I dislike the idea of Carlton picking up a top 10 recruit for very little. It annoys me. Still, he won't help their third world midfield (that still manages to kill us every time).
  7. As I mentioned in another thread, PJ better be the first one in line to knock this on its head, as Swan was to our PP proposal.
  8. It's also worth noting that Jon the [censored] Ralph is a Richmond supporter.
  9. Seems like I have one for my list. Haven't seen it, but anything scored by Philip Glass has me.
  10. It's the original THE LIVES OF OTHERS, with an early performance from Harrison Ford. Beautifully shot and directed, but slowly paced. Still one of the great films. I won't say anymore, lest spoil it, but it relates to this idea of body language.
  11. Yeah, I go to 17-18 games a year (13-15 games are at the 'G). It's worth it for me. But it means I can only afford the MCC/MFC dual membership for the MFC.
  12. Yeah, see, I think he's a lot more value off half back when we get stuck back there. He'll be able to turn defence into attack in the blink of an eye, which is a vital part of our ball movement. I hope we keep him off half back.
  13. Fruit tingles are Adelaide. I think it was KrazyJay that used the expression to describe them the other day. Being an SA boy, he'd know.
  14. Typical British arrogance IMO. The German's are the one's holding up the EU economy.
  15. Yeah, it's strange. I was put down from birth and have been a full member for a couple of years now, as has my sister who is two years younger (27). Yet, I was talking to someone today who said they waited twenty years for restricted and are still not a full member yet - they're in their 50s too.
  16. What's the point in line breakers if they're not playing off half back? I don't get it. That said, I wouldn't be adverse to Lennon off half back.
