  1. Yeah but has robbo ever been that good a chaser? we've known that for years! he's not quick out of the forward-line and his pressure could be improved. That's not a secret. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I believe he more than makes up for it with all the other efforts his made for the MFC!
  2. No.. Read the bold.. that is the point.. WHO wasn't still bolting from upfield, after flooding to try to stop another 10 goal loss, that was in or near the FL, able to offer support, often enough. Who else has kicked goals, who else has been there to support him? WHO did he have to pass it to that WAS good enough to beat their opponent, to give a viable option to Robbo in the past? not a [censored]-poor arguement.. Fact! (again IMO..) To say Richo is more interested in Glory than hard-work is ridculous. Richo runs ALL day for his team all over the place. Thats Hard Work ain't it?
  3. True mate. I've actually been reading here for years without posting. I'm trying to hold back!! Been dealing with assholes sh*tting on my team and players for ages and i'm just perturbed to find it going on so much here. (I'd have a piece to say to Yze magic too, bagging out bruce constantly.) I've got absolutely nothing against anyone personally.. everyones got there own opinion an that, which is cool, i guess i just didn't expect it.. i guess im still in 'defensive mode'
  4. Mate.. again to anyone interested.. BIG PICTURE.. LOOK AT IT.. Richo and Fev are in the same crappy position as Robbo. They've had no support in the forward-line, let alone the way the ball is delivered to them from upfield. It may be interpreted as some as selfish from the outside and its those people who don't watch the game properly and forget about the big picture. Deanox, who in the last.. say.. 5 yrs, has even looked like kicking goals or a winning score for their team at carlton -besides fev? At Richomond - besides richo? (Even during last years new and improved, up the ground richo), or at the Dees, besides robbo? (pre injury) -You think Im losing the fight? Mate, i laid in bed an watched games over and over. Robbo isn't even a KPP and he's still OUR Fev or Richo.. single-handedly held our forward-line together and the only one to kick a decent bag over the course of a season, for years, even when the mighty neita was there next to him. Robbo, Fev, Richo -they HAD to kick the goals. How we're quick to forget that they did! Not selfish, necessity.. Big Picture peoples..
  5. Yeah but unfortunately it'll take more than a couple of weeks to shake! Glad to hear we're on the way tho! Still if you ask the majority, esp having a 1 and 8 win/loss ratio, you'll prob get a response in the negetive. Can't wait until we earn back the respect that every team deserves and that only 'our team' out of the 16, misses out on..
  6. I brought up my IQ cause some [censored] claimed I was 'drooling over my keyboard' implying stupidity, wouldn't you defend yourself? 'Mabbe' is like the slang way of saying 'maybe', i think that mabbe it started in the states. I think that mabbe your to stoopid to understand.. (oh, sorry.. stupid) <_<
  7. Milney, fair enough -thats 1 player, (there might be a couple that i can't recall) and again, it was nipped in the bud pretty quick.. the rest you mentioned, didn't hear about Dal Santo, Richo- that doesn't sound right.. and Fev, its his attitude thats the problem. Why the insults? Can't you articulate what you're trying to say without them? Seriously you're plankton mate. Post again when you learn how to spell pre-school words like "off" and "building." now tell me, wheres your head at [censored]?
  8. yeah its another way of saying that word.. but you know, dont be too pedantic.. pedantic - theres another new word for ya to learn 45..
  9. Mabbe you had the answer in your statement all along. ..lying on his hands and knees instead of chasing.. -Mabbe its a fitness thing, that DB and the entourage mucked up. Mabbe DB didn't wanna admit he brought him up from casey too early! He was kicking goals at casey, but was his fitness up whre it should have been?? ..and now he's back at casey to 'improve on some areas'.. I may have been [censored] an a little frustrated when i wrote my 1st post, but i just don't think DB is doing the best job. i think he is all for the 'lets win less than 4 games' scenario, a scenario that scares me and sh*ts me at the same time. EDIT: oh yeah, how do we know that robbo even saw slyvia in the centre??
  10. Read the whole Robbo thread.. its interesting, ill give it that much.. Ive been unfortunately, fortunate enough (if u read the thread you'll understand,) to be in a position to see all AFL matches, Every round, for years.. Bascically, except S. Johnson in 07' there hasn't been and IMO there isn't now, any player, from any team that still plays selfish footy, not for decades mabbe? Also, Dean Bailey specifically claimed he DIDN'T drop Robbo cause of the STUPID (not selfish) incident, that BTW, not one Dees or any other media person has termed 'selfish'! Read the Robbo thread if ya can, has all the for and against. Robbos anything BUT selfish IMO.. but thats the good thing about opinions, there not right or wrong..
  11. Theres talk of Frawls being sore too. Might have to pass a fitness test 2moro arvo?...
  12. Not getting into this again. Read the robbo thread. WAS ANYTHING EXCEPT SELFISH.. this is Baileys and F.Ds biggest mistake to date, more so than taking too long to rest the Pett and not dropping Riv when he cost all those goals from kick-ins Cheers for the reports- WJ, Demonland, casey scorp and others... WAS 'the GCs rain equalled melbournes annual rainfall in 48 hrs' report, even near correct?? If so, WTF??? If the ground IS an inch thick in mud by the time they play, Ill be stressing about injuries all nite! Unfortunately rain affected footy usually brings the skills of the best teams to the fore. So Although we played well up there a dozen weeks back, i still think Saints by 40.. which will be 'passable' - as long as we've stuck to the game plan.
  13. Straussy had 30 odd possies to half time in the 2nd ressies last week and German hinted at both he and Jurrah were ready for a senior call-up so.. you'd hope so! also, expect the Messiah to drift forward to start to build up his marking and goal-kicking for the big time, now he has got a decent feel for the style of play and that, thru the centre.. 20+ touches in and around the midfield last week is an awesome effort for such a big lad and peter germans report on him was very encouraging. now he has a better understanding of how and where to expect the ball to come from, which is a great process IMHO. gee thats a pretty good and Dees flavoured casey squad this week...
  14. yeah tried reasoning too some people just head-hunt for the sake of it IMO..
  15. yeah i was thinking of a half-forward type debut since the back is pretty set and also has extra options. could see him play the J. Hird type possy.. be nice if he turns out half as good!
  16. nice call. from the reports, t-mac sounds next in line.. mabbe queens b'day for him? and the Messiah..sounds like they're gonna give him a few games up forward, so.. mabbe Dees v WCE if ready?
  17. sweet, good thinking.. An extra 6 millon over a 5 yr deal - when we like every team, play interstate anyway.. as long as it doesn't mean extra interstate games, I'd be wrapped! Think how the Daveys an Wona an jurrahs would play up there.. they'd be extra inspired to perform!
  18. Couldn't agree with this post more!! sheeds don't like the dees! Known that for ages.. (in bold..) Those comments are gold mate!
  19. Yeah but if ya ship richmond tigers off to Tassie, you get the 'TASSIE TIGERS'.. ive been calling for it for ages, give heaps to the tigers supporters at the herald-sun God i hate the tiges and their supporters.. and wallet, i mean wallace.. the yellow strip could be turned horizontally, then add the bottom part to form a big 'T' (for tassie tigers) and they could put the map of Tassie, right on the front of their white shorts, cause we all know how they're a bunch of [censored].
  20. Surprised no-one has made mention of that high profile player in trouble with a gambling problem, apparently a mate of recovering/recovered addict and our own Big Schwarta, whos urged him to reveal himself and get help. WELL from the talk thats going around, and its supposedly spot on the money (sorry for the pun) - its the man of the thread BRENDAN FEVOLA. Sad whoever it is and you only hope they get the help they need. Theres talk of huge debt, THROWING MATCHES and 'heavies' about to enter the scene. Some lady, in rehab for gambling reckon she sat at the tables with Fev before, he'd nearly knocked her over trying to get to his chips (keen?) and that his fav number to punt on was 25. Who knows?.. mabbe there will be something on the footy show tonight?? Obviously, if true you'll have a 'Cousins' type scenario and the Fev might not be playing anywhere for a while. Don't think he'd be the best choise for the Dees anyway with the attitude.. a Lloyd type would be better. Would like to think we have a Fev - Lloydy type forward on our list, about to explode on to the scene anyway..
  21. i watched the 1st quarter, thats how i knew we were going to lose (or correctly guessed that we would.) We FUMBLED our way into the forward line and the hawks went 'tap,tap,tap.Goal'.. half a dozen times! the task was always going to be hard but after the 1st quarter it became all but impossible, thats how i knew we'd lose.. (still, a good last half tho.) 'to please himself'?? thats the arguement, and it doesn't make sense.. Why would you launch yourself 4-5 feet into the air, come down hard, flat on your back to take a mark for your team and then undo all that hard work to then PURPOSEFULLY or in the act of LAIRISING stuff up all the good effort that you just made??? It doesn't make sense. c'mon HT, before robbos injury we were cheering loud -u and me and most- cause he's the only prospect we had to kick a score.. and he did it bloody well! how quick we forget.. BTW- I COULDN'T EVEN IMAGINE THE MESSIAH STARTING HIS CAREER WITHOUT A STRONG-BODIED KNOWLEDGABLE RUSS ROBERTSON BY HIS SIDE ACROSS HALF-FORWARD OR IN THE POCKET, KEEPIN HALF AN EYE ON HIM, MAKING SURE HE ISN'T GETTING SINGLED OUT TO MUCH.. WHICH WILL HAPPEN AT TIMES, ESP EARLY ON, NO DOUBT THAT.. (THE HAIRDRESSER STEF MARTIN, WOULDN'T MIND HIM UP THERE TAKING THE BIGGEST BODY OFF WATTS TOO-IF HE'S STILL KICKING GOALS LIKE AGAINST THE HAWKS..)
  22. As i was discussing with a person in the herald-sun feedback a couple months ago, i think that the Messiahs exams start the very next day after the match.. so if thats the case, id say Dees v west coast at the 'g' hopefully bump up our crappy crowd numbers against interstate teams too.. at least for that one match.. mabbe the friday nite dees v Bombers clash? all a bit irrelevant until he starts looking like he'll earn a spot tho! which he sounds like he is just winding up to do as we speak.;. IMO- dees v West Coast - if its warranted..
  23. sounds fair to me! try telling that to some people on this site
  24. another great way of putting it.. nice response (yes, the ol' rhino loves to use snippets and bits and pieces of 'out-of-context' rhetoric to strenghten his arguement.. )
