Agree that MFC needs an experienced back up for Max but unless that person has a second string to his bow, he isn't going to be playing much footy at the highest level. You would need to recruit a player who is prepared to play that stand in role as Jake Spencer did the last couple of years. Lachie Filipic has had his chances but I'm not sure that he is going to develop into an AFL player based on this year. Big men take time but he hasn't shown enough for me.
