I'll do my best. i'm off to hit the hay for a 4am wake up for a flight to sydney, then straight to acer arena for the weight-in and maybe a signature or 2, although i'm not sure Kos and Bader are worth queing up for if it's as long as it was last year. getting pumped.......Sots by sub, Lytle by K.O, Rivera by K.T.F.O, and B.J by K.O. Bring it on!
-
yeah not real happy with him, but he will pay for it if i can't sell it or make up the shortfall if i can't get full price. there were guys screaming out for tics at the weigh-in last year so i think i will be able to offload without too many problems. Rampage and Evans is definately a go i'm told, and i'm sorry Deestroy but i can't have Evans. He bugs me as much as Kos.

I've had one of our crew pull out of 127 so i've got 1 ticket in premium for anyone interested at cost ($410). it will go on e-bay late next week.
-
that scenario sounds much more likely than "they found some extra room for seats".
-
I still would have done the same as you, It's a very good card and you just never know. you'd hate to be over in the states with a chance to see it and no ticket. they released some more tics for sydney last week including gold seats after they found some more room, and yet i couldn't get gold seats after the first minute of ticket sales when the event first went on sale........wtf!!!
-
If i was you i would'nt feel too much for Rashad cos he's a turd, and i would be wrapped you get to see Jones instead. btw....you can still buy tics to that, and right up until the start of ufc 126 tic were still available for that. they don't sell out over there like they do here. btw again.......Rashad will now fight Rampage instead at a later date
-
No word on the replacement yet, but we have been told to get to acer arena early as they have added a 12th fight to the card. Not happy about Condit Vs Lytle not happening. this fight has barely rated a mention but after sots vs Siver, this was the fight i was looking forward to the most.
-
Carlos Condit pulls out of 127 with a knee.......NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Its become boring to just call him a freak. he is the best fighter on the planet imo. you're right about Belfort though, i thought he might worry him with his hand speed and for one tiny little flurry i started getting my hopes up. It's not that i want Silva to lose either, i've always loved how good he is despite some fights he was bored in, but i do want to see him challenged and under pressure. He is just too good. not much in the rest of the card, Jones owned Bader in every department and i'm not sure Bader would be all that happy with his effort. Jones and shogun should be a cracker, and such a shame to hear about Rashad. well i'm now counting down the days.......
-
That would make alot of sense and i can understand him looking after the voice. you always hope you get one of those gigs where they totally go off, but reality is it's way less likely than likey. they might call him an arty [censored], and he's difinately moody, but he is also a genius imo. drumming was sensational for anyone let alone a 50 yo. we'll have some ufc to talk about in a few days and then the countdown to 127......pumped.
-
I was wondering If Maynard had voice problems in regards to the climax to vicarious......he just had to sing that! and i also wonder if that affected the set so he didn't have to scream too many times. If that was the case it was a pity because i really, really wanted to hear The Grudge amongst others. On strikeforce; there is something about it......commentators suck, and even when they have good fights eg. Shields Vs Henderson they look a different standard to ufc. maybe i should tune in with the volume down next time.
-
didn't see it, i have a hard time watching strikeforce. whilst we're on the topic of ufc, what did you think of Tool?
-
i really think this is changing in the sport particularly when you have fighters who are as good as George is at submissions. when i first started watching ufc i couldn't stand the ground game at all, and it probably had a fair bit to do with the fighters not having much of a ground game. i now enjoy a quality submission as much as a k.o., having said that i'm a tad excited about condit vs lytle and it ain't for their ground games!
-
Yves Edwards!!? is he still going? he used to be my favourite fighter, he never seemed to lose a fight then one day he disappeared. would love to see him back if he's still got it.
-
should be a cracker but unfortunately i'm out so i'll have to wait for the replay again and hold back from checking results. agree with 2 of your predictions, i've always liked belfort, his hands are unreal but i think Silva will beat him easily. Franklin and Griffen is a tough one, maybe Griffen just and i'm going out on a limb a bit to tip Bader. Can't wait.

only just got up to speed with this, didn't get it live...... i think Frankie's comeback was unbelievable BUT i disagree that he won 4 rounds. he won the second no doubt, lost the third, won the fourth, and the fifth was real tight, could have gone either way. so imo the first Maynard won 10-8 (without a doubt), lost 2, won 3, lost 4 and we'll call 5 a tie, and therefore i think Maynard can feel pretty pi$$ed that he isn't wearing the belt. hats off to both of them for a great fight, and a draw wasn't the worst result. i like Thiago Silva, and i was really pi$$ed at the was he fought Rashad Evans in his last fight, he had Evans rocked and then stood back and watched him recover. he is a beast but he needs to fight smarter. very impressive against Vera, but i still doubt his smarts. a very good card overall.
-
he's a gun. i think the "pound for pound" talk will start after his first u.f.c fight, if it hasn't already.
-
fraid not, had to mind the kids. my mate went and had a chat to the guys, said they were very cool. and if i was you i wouldn't worry about getting guys to sign stuff, this is u.f.c! man love is ok.
-
for anyone interested b.j Penn, John Fitch, aussie george etc will be in at eb games in the city signing stuff at 5pm tomorrow (thurs).
-
btw, i am very likely to have some spare $275 tickets to ufc 127 by the end of tomorrow if anyone is interested, but they will go fast!
-
Anderson Silva is a freak for sure, even if he does need to pull his head in. gsp and anderson would be the biggest fight in the ufc in recent memory and i would love to see it personally, even though the guy that moves up a weight class is always at a disadvantage imo.
-
i hear what you're saying about gsp and i agree he doesn't have natural knockout power, but even though i love guys with the ability to take out opponents with one punch, it's not the be all and end all. knockout power makes for exciting fights, but i also love watching a guy like gsp dismantle opponent after opponent who does have that knockout power, without even giving them a sniff. how many times do you hear guys say "i only have to land one big shot on him" and they never can.
-
ufc 127 tickets go on sale this tuesday at 12 midday to fight club members. thursday for non-members.
-
I've tried to like Kos.................. but then he opens his mouth. fair dinkum what a tool. unlike you i like GSP fights, his wrestling is unbelievable, but i have a feeling Kos will win this also and we'll never hear the end of it.
