  1. not sure thats possible. i haven't read one positive comment yet.
  2. or one more win and we are even closer. we could go on like this all night mr 'glass is half empty'.
  3. and on the ladder we are 2 games and % out of the 8
  4. sitting at the game down by 50 points at halftime and then watching them come back from there.......it was much better than ONLY one win.
  5. you have been accused many times of talking some A grade [censored] in the past.......but i think you may well be onto something. we may turn out to be [censored] for the rest of the year, but really, how many rubbish teams win a game of football from 50 points down at halftime? did carlton eva look like doing it? richmond?
  6. that clean read off the pack in the goalsquare late in the game was pure class.
  7. are we talking about the same kind of "peanut's" who loved him before he chose carlton instead of us? put yourself in that same pathetic category.
  8. i really hope i'm wrong about Bell, but he appears to be another horrible early draft selection by c.c even if he does become a good footballer, he's the type of player you could pick up in the 30-50 region of the draft. after watching as much of him as i pressume c.c did as a junior, he should have known that.
  9. Not sure if it's been quoted on here or not, but in an interview with Daniel Kerr, Kerr was quoted as having had a conversation with Judd during last week in the lead-up to the Blues/Eagles game. When Kerr mentioned the game was a sellout Judd said "the Juddman can still pull a crowd". I used to think he was a practical, down to earth, humble sort of a guy, but I was waaaaaaay off. What a [censored]! PLEASE DON'T BOO JUDDY
  10. did you see fev tonight? i wouldn't want that [censored] at our club for free.
  11. what we are seeing in the 3rd qtr is why west coast are still much better than we are. they are mounting a comeback and we don't 'do' comeback's.........too much hard work.
  12. i always loved the creativity johnstone could create with a brilliant switch of play, but it was all to rare. he would pull of the impossible, then turn it over with a basic skill error that left you pulling your hair out. if i had a player kicking for goal with my life, i would take mclean. in every other department of the game, i would choose the same bloke.
  13. and how do you reckon they compare in the ticker department?
  14. does anyone have any information on his capabilities overhead? contested marking etc...... or his ability to play key position?
  15. lets look at it this way...... we make the most of the draft this year with one early pick and 2 in the high teens (not too shabby), take a decent player in the pre-season draft (cousins maybe?), then win 8 or so games next year and take the priority pick out of the picture anyway.
  16. the storm have had the success they have had not because of money injected but because they are a damn good organization, who don't tolerate crap from the players. not to mention their outstanding recruiting record. think about the A-grade players who have left or are leaving, Kimmorley, Bell, Orford, falou etc........yet the storm tell them to go forth and multiply if they want to leave with the knowledge they will always find the next one. we need to get our [censored] together and start getting some real talent into our side and develop them properly. we get it together and the success will come......no matter how many sides are in the comp.
  17. he was listed as 196 and growing last year. i'll settle for 195 http://www.melbournestorm.com.au/default.a...&sfpid=1753
  18. i do. i went to sydney to watch him strutt his stuff in the g.f last year. i don't think people realize that guy is as tall as jeff white and he moves the way he does.......freak.
  19. richmond either win 5 or more or wallace gets the sack.....simple as that. they won't be tanking and will win at least 2 more games, i think as many as 8. the blues are a worry and definately a chance, but as long as we get 1 or 2 i'm happy.
  20. i really think Dunn can play, i just think he, like many melbourne players, needs to be given a position to learn. same goes for Bartram, he'll never be a gun midfielder, so let him do what he does best and tag an opposition midfielder. i'm a fan of versatility in a player, but i really think it's about time Dunn, Miller, Bate, Bruce, Bartram, Silvia etc were given a chance to make a position their own. use their versatility in plan B.
  21. yeah...it just didn't sound right did it?
  22. doubt it. we have nothing to gain by trading silvia at this stage, those who want him gone, fine, but don't expect currency in the market. we've put in 5 years, he's had one full pre-season and he looks much better. to me we have to give him at least 2 injury free years to prove his worth and i think he's on the right track.
