  1. I'll be honest, I always find it really disturbing when people reveal that they got a boner over footy related things.
  2. It's because I have God mode enabled on my account. I wonder if the software allows the lesser mods to swear? Grapeviney, H_T, Dr John?
  3. Wait, he only charged you $50? Shit.

Still sounds like serious hyperbole from Gossage though. Gossage is the typical hanger-on that the AFL is full of - peripheral commentators who have to say big things to remain minutely relevant.
  5. How about the hoof from Kent to Garlett on his own in that first one? On the footage it looked like a kick and hope until you see Garlett all on his own. Would have been an exciting passage to see live.
  6. I have an unlimited inbox
  7. Thanks for the goss GD. Wonder if I'm the only one who skipped all the Wines stuff and got straight to the Hartlett bit If we land Hartlett I will be stoked.
  8. Yeah! What would that buffoon Goodwin know if he likes Melksham? It's not like he's coached with him or worked closely with him for several years or anything. We fans clearly know more than that idiot and his terrible judgement.

To be very clear, abusing somebody by private message is every bit as frowned upon as doing it publicly on the forum.
  10. I love the way Garlett just steps over him as if he's some annoying obstacle in the way.
  11. Yep - there was a moment when a GWS player (do they have names?) kicked a goal from nowhere, and all that could be heard was the sound of crickets, and the weak groan of the gears in Derwayne's brain trying to work out what had happened. It was eerie seeing GWS players tussling each others hair with no crowd noise. We also sounded very vocal on TV.
  12. No doubt it's embarrassing, but it doesn't help when we're playing against a team nobody gives a rats about.
  13. Please tell me you are kidding.
  14. Gosh, imagine the whinging we'd have to read on here now if the positions had been reversed, and we'd have taken Martin first and left Jesse. Actually, don't imagine it. It's very unpleasant.
  15. Maverick Weller. That tackle really was a thing of beauty. High degree of difficulty, caused a free that would otherwise have been a goal, and would have hurt the recipient like a bastard. Great stuff.

I'd think 150 would be a stretch given the slow start to his career, let alone 200. I just read Burgs' column article and I reckon he's in the Jetta Mancrush club. Understandable given the way he's gone about it since being rookie listed. It's been a while since a player has come back from the dead as he did.
  17. If only it were at Etihad, eh? Could have sank three of them at once.
  18. It's yesterday's argument anyway. I really doubt we'd be that much better off if we had NicNat instead of Watts. Both are good players with flaws that will prevent them from reaching the top shelf. Both players are a case study in how elite attributes don't necessarily translate in to an elite player, and that even very early draft picks are still just a lottery, no matter how sure a thing you think the player is.
  19. Jakovich
  20. Liam Jurrah - 26 Allen Jakovich - 67
  21. Tough crowd. First bad game of his career. He's a competitive lad, don't reckon anyone will be more filthy than himself. Nothing to see here.
  22. What, no ANB this time? Disappointing.

It's probably just that he's only 22 and hasn't yet perfected the recipe for peak performance for 22 games a year.

Yep, that kick to NicNat in the middle of the ground... Could see it happening as soon as he turned inboard. He hasn't learned his limitations yet. Hopefully over time he stops trying to do kicks that are too difficult for him.
  25. Our time and energy is not limitless. Sniff about, sure, but focus the bulk of our resources on targets that are actually likely to bear fruit. This one isn't one if those.
