All concerns about eligibility aside. I can only think of one main reason hes being looked. I think Goodwin sees him as a line breaker. Milkshake does appear to have a knack for finding space and instinctively moves FORWARD. These are things we need to do more. Time will tell i suppose.

There may well be something to that. And he would have company on that list.Im happy for others to value him higher, to make of him as a better player than that which i estimate. I think hes gone as high as he can with us and its only that value which interests me...i.e. what Howe can be for us. In todays footy you have to be pretty versatile as each game, each opposition requires a different tinkering of players and gameplan. Seems that variation of roles is one of Jeremy' peeves. If/when Howe goes I could couldn't care less what another team makes of him. Nor really of any player that leaves etc. If they cant be of use to us..i have no interest. This time of year does generate some fascinating 'alternative' valuations of players...by all teams. Bit like trash and treasure week

i agree.Many make the assumption that as they (picks) are derived from the same source that theg have the same currency. Id be more akin to think they are like the various monies of the world in so much as having differing value. As you rightly suppose Deanox i think its all about horses and courses. Also is pick 12 say as valuable in a flat draft year as compared a better cropped one. So timing has an influence. This then goes to the idea of fwd trading of picks. All in all the value of a pick is eventually established by the trading teams.
